CLE TE Demetrius Harris - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Demetrius Harris finished 1-23 on four targets last week, and one of those targets was in the endzone as Harris nearly caught a touchdown, but dropped it. Harris has only caught 13 passes this season despite increased playing time due to injuries. He should not be trusted as a reliable fantasy option. Plus, there's a chance David Njoku returns this week.

Demetrius Harris is the main tight end for Cleveland moving forward as Ricky Seals-Jones will likely be inactive this week. But Harris hasn't been a prominent figure in Cleveland's passing attack so far this season. He's a weak option against the Steelers in Week 11.

With David Njoku sidelined, Demetrius Harris took over as the Browns' starting tight end. But he finished Week 3 with just two targets and one catch for two yards. That lone catch was a touchdown, but he hasn't been a main factor in the offense. He's a touchdown or bust candidate, and not a strong fantasy option.

Week 3 vs. Los Angeles Rams

David Njoku will be sidelined for a while with a broken wrist, which means Demetrius Harris will fill in as the starting tight end. Harris offers a lot of size, standing tall at 6-7 while weighing 229 lbs. Harris played most of Week 2, being on the field for 78% of the team's offensive snaps. However, he saw just one target, finishing with one catch for four yards. Until we see Harris do something more, he's not worth starting in fantasy.

Although he showed growth during the offseason, Demetrius Harris enters the season as Kansas City’s third tight end, behind promising Travis Kelce and veteran Anthony Fasano. Unless something happens to Kelce or Fasano, we would not count on Harris making waves.
