Week 2 at Houston Texans

Deon Jackson led the Indianapolis running back room in snaps by a long shot last week, seeing 71% of the team’s offensive plays. Still, he was limited to just 14 yards on 13 carries, and 14 yards on five receptions. It’s good to see him getting receptions, but it’s disheartening to see a mere 28 yards from scrimmage on 18 touches. This week, expect him to take a backseat to Zach Moss, assuming Moss is active after breaking his arm in early August, against the Texans. Houston allowed three touchdowns to the Baltimore running back room in Week 1, so there’s upside here for whoever gets the bulk of the touches for the Colts. If Moss is out, consider Jackson a fringe RB2 option. If Moss plays, then Jackson is better left on the bench.
