The Ravens have now placed WR Devin Duvernay on injured reserve after he suffered an injury in practice on Tuesday.

Related players: Sammy Watkins, Demarcus Robinson, DeSean Jackson, James Proche

Fantasy Impact: 

Duvernay injured his foot at practice today and immediately there were concern it was a significant injury. It's a big hit for the Ravens who were already short at the position. The team did sign Watkins who was just released from the Packers, but for now it looks like Robinson and Jackson are the top-two with Proche likely seeing more snaps. The Ravens will continue to be run-heavy going forward.

The Ravens have activated WRs DeSean Jackson and Binjimen Victor from the practice squad for Thursday Night Football.

Fantasy Impact: 

DeSean Jackson may be an oft-injured 36-year-old, but he still had 75 and 68-yard receptions with the Rams last season and remains a speed demon when he is healthy. For desperate managers looking for a Mark Andrews replacement, or DFS sickos, Jackson is a very interesting play tonight.

Ravens are signing veteran WR DeSean Jackson, his agent Drew Rosenhaus confirmed.

Fantasy Impact: 

At 35, Jackson is back for his 15th NFL season. He spent time with the Rams and Raiders last year, and the Ravens are hoping he can extend the field and be a deep play threat. Last year he posted two touchdowns, both coming in games where he went over 100 yards receiving - his only two of the season. Last year in limited time he averaged 22.70 YPR, but he averaged just over one reception a game so he's not expected to be a safe fantasy play.

Veteran free-agent WR DeSean Jackson is scheduled to visit the Ravens on Tuesday.

Fantasy Impact: 

At 35 years old, it's very doubtful that Jackson would play a full-time role in Baltimore's option, but he would be an interesting addition to operate as another field-stretcher for Lamar Jackson. Tylan Wallace currently has the highest depth-of-target (16.6) on the team, but that's on only five targets. Devin Duvernay has been operating as the de facto WR2 this season and has racked up a decent 1.71 yards per route run on 24 targets, with some of that usage coming in Rashod Bateman's absence.
