Buccaneers WR DeSean Jackson (thumb) did not practice Wednesday. Jackson is having a tough time gripping the football, which would make it difficult to catch it. Adam Humphries and Chris Godwin will once again play big snaps, but the matchup this week is a bad one.

DeSean Jackson hasn’t played last two games due to thumb injury. Had it immobilized tonight, said he’s still hopeful to play this season.

Fantasy Impact: 

The tweet went on to say Jackson hasn't able to squeeze the ball at all with his injured hand. As a result, he seems unlikely to be ready to go for Week 15. Humphries and Godwin will take up his targets but it's a tough matchup against the Ravens.

Buccaneers WR DeSean Jackson (thumb, out) missed practice all week and is out for Week 14. This is great news for Chris Godwin and Adam Humphries owners. Godwin has averaged 5.0 receptions for 103 yards and 0.67 touchdowns. As for Humphries, he has scored at least 14.6 fantasy points (PPR) in five of his last six games and is averaging 6.8 targets per game in that span. And most of that was with a healthy Jackson in the lineup. The Saints’ stingy rush defense should funnel yards to the passing game.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have declared wide receiver DeSean Jackson (hand, thumb) as out for Week 14 against the Saints.

Fantasy Impact: 

Fire up Adam Humphries and Chris Godwin with fervor! Without Jackson last week, the two combined for 12 receptions, 172 yards and two scores. Both players fall into the top-18 in this week's wide receiver rankings.
