Eagles WR DeSean Jackson will not play Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network.

Fantasy Impact: 

Carson Wentz and company are without their best field-stretching receiver for another week. The Eagles could get Jackson and Alshon Jeffery back as soon as next week.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson logged his second limited practice of the week on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact: 

Jackson appears to be on track to play this weekend, but the team will likely opt to play it safe with Jackson if he can not open up enough to be more than a limited snap player on Sunday. He is desperately needed by an Eagles team that is already down Jalen Reagor, Dallas Goedert, and Alshon Jeffrey, and was forced to start a wide receiver trio consisting of fourth receiver types in Greg Ward, John Hightower, and Travis Fulgham. We should find out tomorrow whether or not the Eagles plan to play Jackson in Week 5.

Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson will return to practice on Wednesday as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury.

Fantasy Impact: 

Jackson's return is a welcome sight for the Eagles with their team being ravaged by injuries at every turn. The fact that he is participating in practice on Wednesday puts him on track to return to the lineup for Week 5 against the Steelers. Jackson will be a boom or bust flex play whenever he makes it back. He should see volume due to the extremely shallow depth chart at receiver, but Carson Wentz's struggles make Jackson hard to trust as a surefire fantasy starter.
