Scouting report

BUF RB Devin Singletary - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at New England
It was the second straight game that Devin Singletary had 23 touches. He did have 89 total yards, but had zero touchdowns and lost a fumble. Singletary has become the feature back and will be helpful in the fantasy playoffs over the next two weeks.

The Patriots are up next and are ranked 6th in aFPA to running backs. The Bills will be committed to the run as New England is even better against the pass. So expect Singletary to get 20 carries again this game.

Even with the touches, we don't expect big numbers, but enough to consider him an RB3 or flex for Week 16.

BUF RB Devin Singletary - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Pittsburgh
The rookie running back continues to break out in the second half of the season. Devin Singletary had a season-high 23 touches and ended up with 117 yards from scrimmage. Part of those numbers included six receptions which was also a season-high.

Singletary will have a tough matchup against the Steelers who are ranked 5th in aFPA to running backs. However, if he keeps getting around 20 touches, he will still have value this week,

Start Singletary as a low-end RB2 for Week 15. We expect the touches, but the yardage will probably be lower than in recent weeks.

BUF RB Devin Singletary - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs Baltimore
After recording his first 100-yard rushing game, Devin Singletary came back down to where he has been in recent weeks as he rushed for 63 yards. But he did add three receptions for 38 yards and had a touchdown catch to make it a pretty good fantasy outing.

Singletary will play against the Ravens next who are 9th in aFPA to running backs. We expect him to be in the 15-18 touch area and put up similar numbers to last week.

Start Singletary for Week 14 as an RB2 in what should be a conservative game where the running backs control the tempo

BUF RB Devin Singletary - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Dallas
Devin Singletary had his best game as a professional and recorded his first 100-yard rushing game. He also had a career-high 21 carries. Singletary is the definitive No. 1 back for the Bills the second half of the season.

Singletary will face the Cowboys who are 15th in aFPA to running backs. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him get 20 touches again this week because Dallas is better against the pass than the run.

Start Singletary as an RB3 or flex for Week 13. He should be the centerpiece of the Buffalo offense on Thursday.

BUF RB Devin Singletary - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs Denver
Devin Singletary was the starter last week and ended up with 16 touches for 79 yards. There is no doubt the Bills think he is ready to be the No. 1 running back. Since Week 8, Singletary has been on the field for a minimum of 66% of the snaps per game.

It will be a tough matchup for Singletary against Denver who is eighth in aFPA to running backs. Even with Singletary getting touches, the Broncos probably won't allow him to have a big game.

Start him as a low-end RB2 for Week 12. The Bills offense is still a work in progress and Singletary will have numbers that will help you, but he won't carry you.

BUF RB Devin Singletary - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Miami
After getting 23 touches two weeks ago, Devin Singletary was back down to 11 this past game. He averaged 5.3 yards per carry so it's surprising he didn't get more carries. But the game didn't flow his way. The good news is he is getting more involved in the passing game with 10 receptions over the last three games.

Singletary had only seven carries for 26 yards the first time the Bills played Miami. The Dolphins are 32nd in aFPA to running backs. This is a great matchup for Singletary if he can get the touches.

Start him as a solid RB2 for Week 11. Singletary is the best option in the Buffalo backfield and should get more touches this Sunday.

BUF RB Devin Singletary - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Cleveland
Devin Singletary was finally treated like the Bills No. 1 running back and he produced. He had never had double-digit touches and had 23 this past Sunday. He rushed for 95 yards and had 45 receiving yards and also scored his second rushing touchdown of the season. This is something we have been expecting, and are still wondering what took so long.

Singletary will face the Browns who are 21st in aFPA to running backs. He has played 67% of the snaps over the past two games so it appears he has clearly passed veteran Frank Gore.

Start Singletary as a solid RB2 for Week 10. If you had patience and kept him on your roster through the first half of the season, you will be rewarded with him in the lineup. If he is still on waivers, you should pick him up immediately.
