JAX WR D.J. Chark - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Indianapolis Colts
After missing Week 15’s action D.J. Chark was back on the field in Atlanta last Sunday. On a team-high seven targets, he collected just two receptions for a season-low 18 yards, as Gardner Minshew threw for less than 200 yards. At the Colts five weeks ago Chark finished with 104 yards and two scores. He is a WR2 play in the rematch.

JAX WR D.J. Chark - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Atlanta Falcons
D.J. Chark missed the Jaguars comeback win at Oakland last week with a sore ankle but has been practicing this week and is expected to play on Sunday. The Jaguars aerial attack was stymied for most of the game against the Raiders until two fourth-quarter TD tosses from Gardner Minshew to Chris Conley. Check the injury report but if Chark is able to go he has a favorable matchup versus a suspect Falcons pass defense.

JAX WR D.J. Chark - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Oakland Raiders
Before leaving last week’s loss to the Chargers with an ankle injury D.J. Chark recorded nine receptions for 75 yards. He was in a walking boot after the game and might be out on Sunday, which isn’t good news for fantasy owners as the Raiders have had all kinds of problems stopping the pass. Be sure to monitor the injury report for Chark’s status.

JAX WR D.J. Chark - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Los Angeles Chargers
In the home loss to the Bucs last week D.J. Chark saw five targets from Jacksonville QBs but collected a season-low two grabs for 47 yards. Even though he’s on pace for 1,000-yards this year, in three of the last four outings Chark has failed to post at least 50 yards. Despite facing the No. 4 pass defense, expect a better performance on Sunday.

JAX WR D.J. Chark - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
In the loss at Tennessee last week D.J. Chark saw six targets from Nick Foles, resulting in five receptions for 38 yards and a two-point conversion. It was a rather disappointing outing for Jacksonville’s top WR, considering Foles threw nearly 50 passes for over 270 yards. Even though he’s been held to under 40 yards in two of the past three games, the Bucs allow nearly 300 yards through the air, so be sure Chark remains a part of your starting lineup.

JAX WR D.J. Chark - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Tennessee Titans
Apparently D.J. Chark and Nick Foles didn’t need to be reintroduced to each other after Foles missed most of the season with a collarbone injury. In their first full game together at Indianapolis last week Chark snagged eight passes for 104 yards and two scores. He’d found pay dirt just once in the previous four contests, averaging just 57 total yards during that span. Back in September versus the Titans Chark snagged four passes for 76 yards and a TD. He’s been battling a sore hamstring this week but if he’s healthy enough to play he should definitely remain in your starting lineup.

JAX WR D.J. Chark - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Indianapolis Colts
Even though Gardner Minshew passed for over 300 yards two weeks ago in London, D.J. Chark finished with a season-low 32 yards on four grabs. After registering five scores in the first five contests this year, Chark has just one TD the past four outings, averaging 57 total yards during that timeframe. It’ll be interesting how he clicks with Nick Foles, especially against the Colts No. 9 pass defense. Consider Chark a WR2 play.
