Scouting report

GB WR Dontayvion Wicks - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Dontayvion Wicks has been the most unpredictable of this already-unpredictably wide receiver rotation, scoring four touchdowns yet falling below 4.0 fantasy points in four matchups. He is the exact definition of a boom/bust player and should be kept on benches unless you are grasping for straws.

GB WR Dontayvion Wicks - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Arizona Cardinals
With Christian Watson leaving the game in Week 4, Dontayvion Wicks ended up receiving a wild 13 targets, 23.3 half-PPR points, and shot up to the top of everyone's waiver wire list. He sadly followed that up with a 2-20-0 stat line on seven targets in Week 5, but it looks like Watson has an uphill climb to play again in Week 6. His opportunities could easily flip toward productivity this week, which makes him a totally fine WR3 option.

GB WR Dontayvion Wicks - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 @ Los Angeles Rams
With Christian Watson leaving the game in Week 4, Dontayvion Wicks ended up receiving a wild 13 targets, 23.3 half-PPR points, and shot up to the top of everyone's waiver wire list. Expecting another 13 targets would be silly, but his new opportunity solidifies him as a low-end WR2 option in this great matchup.

GB WR Dontayvion Wicks - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at Minnesota Vikings

Dontayvion Wicks was quite popular in DFS last week as one of the clear values but left injured early on. Thankfully he secured a touchdown before heading out for the game. He's officially listed as questionable for the game against the Vikings this week.

With Wicks questionable and in a game environment that doesn't look great for a shootout, it's tough to trust Wicks this week as a flex play. He'll likely be the WR3 against a pass defense that is 15th aFPA against wide receivers this week. I get it if you're desperate, but you might have better and healthier options on your bench.

GB WR Dontayvion Wicks - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at Carolina Panthers

The big story of this week will be the health of the receivers around Romeo Doubs. Dontayvion Wicks has at least gotten in two limited practices this week, which likely puts him in position to play this weekend. Without Jayden Reed and Christian Watson, Wicks might likely retain the top target-earner status he had last week against Tampa. Wicks finished with 7 targets for 6 catches and 97 yards. He's been solid in his limited snaps so far this year.

While Wicks would likely be the top receiving option this week if Watson and Reed miss, it is still an incredibly difficult matchup against Carolina. The Panthers rank 2nd aFPA against wide receivers this year and will likely lower the ceiling on what Wicks is able to do this week. Wicks is a flex option this week with his lowered ceiling in a difficult matchup.

GB WR Dontayvion Wicks - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at New York Giants

Donatayvion Wicks, welcome to the write-ups! On the season, Wicks has seen a 41 percent route participation, and his 25% targets per route run lead the team. While Wicks is only seeing 16% of the air yards in the last four games, that's higher than Jayden Reed (13%).

Wicks gets a great matchup against the Giants this week as they rank 25th aFPA against receivers. However, he's more of a desperation flex play this week as Jayden Reed will likely be more involved with Christian Watson missing.
