WAS WR Dontrelle Inman - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Dallas Cowboys

Dontrelle Inman has emerged as Washington's No. 2 receiver in the absence of Steve Sims. But that role typically doesn't offer much production. Inman had a nice 5-45 game last week, but that's been his most productive game (aside from a random two-touchdown game in Week 3). Inman has finished below 50 receiving yards each week and has only hit five receptions once. He's not involved enough to warrant fantasy consideration.

WAS WR Dontrelle Inman - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Los Angeles Rams

Dontrelle Inman has taken over as Washington's No. 2 receiver, but that hasn't meant much in terms of production. He did have two touchdowns in Week 3, but finished 4-29 in Week 4. Inman hasn't hit five receptions or 40 yards in any game this season, so he has very limited value. He won't be a good play this week in a tough matchup against the Rams. Terry McLaurin is the only Washington receiver worth playing.

WAS WR Dontrelle Inman - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. Baltimore Ravens

Dontrelle Inman finished with two goal-line touchdowns last week, but that's about all he did. He had three total receptions for 38 yards, which is just slightly higher production than we've seen from him so far in 2020. He's not really worth fantasy consideration moving forward.

LAC WR Dontrelle Inman - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Miami Dolphins

Dontrelle Inman finished Week 3 with one reception for 23 yards, 7% of the team targets, and 19% of the team air yards. Inman is not getting the volume needed to be a reliable fantasy asset.

Miami’s secondary is 13th worst against wide receivers, per our signature schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed metric. 4for4 rankings expert, John Paulsen, has Benjamin ranked as the Half PPR WR88 and should not be in your starting lineup.

LAC WR Dontrelle Inman - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Detroit Lions

Dontrelle Inman finished Week 1 with one reception for five yards, 3% of the team targets, and 2% of the team air yards. However, his playing time could increase if Mike Williams is not able to play on Sunday. Williams missed several practices this week due to a knee injury and is questionable against the Lions. 4for4 rankings expert John Paulsen has Inman ranked as the Half PPR WR65. Inman is a risky dart throw in deep leagues if Williams does not suit up.

IND WR Dontrelle Inman - Week 19 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 19 at Kanas City Chiefs

Despite being five-point underdogs in Kansas City, Vegas expects a shootout between the Chiefs and the Colts. That has pushed the Colts implied team total in the divisional round up higher than 25 points. In the passing game, KC ranks just 25th in aFPA to WRs. T.Y. Hilton hasn't practiced in weeks but keeps playing. He's in a position for a big week again if he can make it through the game. If he struggles to stay on the field, Dontrelle Inman has emerged as the Colts WR2 and makes for a solid sleeper option in the divisional round.

IND WR Dontrelle Inman - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Dallas Cowboys

Indianapolis has an above average implied team total this week against a tough Dallas defense. That implied total is 25 points. However, the Cowboys rank top five in aFPA to RBs, foreshadowing a pass-heavy attack for the Colts. The Cowboys may rank top 10 in aFPA to WRs, but T.Y. Hilton is as dependable as they get in terms of targets lately, with three straight 10+ target games. Outside of Hilton though, no other Colts receiver can be relied upon for fantasy production.
