Fantasy Upside
A player to keep an eye on in 2016 is Dontrelle Inman. As the team's official website notes, the former CFL standout more than tripled his production from 2014 to 2015. His 13.9 yards per catch average in 2015 was the highest on the team and 29th-highest in the NFL among players with at least 35 catches. With Stevie Johnson suffering a season-ending knee injury, there's room to move up the depth chart.
Fantasy Downside
Inman will still be behind Keenan Allen, Travis Benjamin, tight end Antonio Gates and running back Danny Woodhead in the pecking order -- even if he can secure a spot ahead of promising youngster Tyrell Williams and veteran free agent James Jones.
2016 Bottom Line
Inman isn't worth your attention in redraft leagues at this point in time. However, he's worth watching a potential waiver-wire play or DFS value if he can carve out a consistent role as the season progresses.
