NE QB Drake Maye - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Arizona Cardinals

Drake Maye has established himself as something approaching a regular QB2 but is yet to offer much of a fantasy ceiling. He continues to add something with his legs, averaging around four rush attempts per game over his last three while adding 113 yards on the ground. But the Patriots passing "attack" puts a hard cap on his weekly output. QB2 numbers are all we can expect from this week, with a clash against a Cardinals defense that ranks third in aFPA to quarterbacks this season.

NE QB Drake Maye - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Indianapolis Colts

Drake Maye has shown himself capable of performing at a QB2 level despite a less-than-stellar supporting cast. This should again be the case in Week 13 with a clash against the Colts on the agenda. The Colts rank 20th in aFPA to quarterbacks this season and have allowed three rushing touchdowns to signal callers. With all 32 teams in action this week, Maye should be able to put up solid QB2 numbers.

NE QB Drake Maye - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Miami Dolphins

Drake Maye has managed to stay somewhat fantasy-relevant recently, averaging 14.3 fantasy points per game in the last four weeks. He’s up to QB24 in fantasy points per game and has added an extra element to the Patriots offense with his legs. His ability to add yards on the ground should help him remain interesting as a QB2 option against the Dolphins, even despite their ranking fifth in aFPA to quarterbacks. Still, with six teams on a bye this week, someone has to be a QB2, and Maye can certainly offer that much.

NE QB Drake Maye - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs Los Angeles Rams

Drake Maye is the QB24 in fantasy points per game in his rookie season and is coming off a QB15 week in Week 10. He should be in the QB2 conversation for the week ahead against the Rams, who rank 20th in aFPA to quarterbacks in 2024. Maye’s mobility certainly helps, as he has at least 45 rushing yards in two straight games.

NE QB Drake Maye - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Chicago Bears

Drake Maye has given the Patriots offense something of a spark and has been somewhat interesting in fantasy terms with a 13.9 points per game average as a rookie. But we should not be expecting a strong outing this week with the Patriots taking on a Bears team that does not allow quarterbacks to dominate them. The Bears rank first in aFPA to opposition signal callers, which makes Maye someone we should be interested in as a low-end QB2 this week.

NE QB Drake Maye - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 vs New York Jets

Drake Maye has made himself quite useful in fantasy terms over his first two career starts, averaging 20.2 fantasy points per game in the last two weeks. He may find things somewhat tougher in Week 8 however, with the New York Jets waiting to get hold of him. The Jets rank fourth in aFPA to quarterbacks this season, and with all 32 teams in action this weekend there may not be an absolute need for you to start Maye in single quarterback leagues. He looks like a very low-end QB2 option this week.

NE QB Drake Maye - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Jacksonville Jaguars (in London)

It was just his first NFL start, but Drake Maye was more fantasy relevant in 60 minutes of action than Jacoby Brissett had been in the first five games of the season last week. Maye scored 19.5 fantasy points and finished as the QB12. Most importantly, he helped boost the fantasy stock of several other members of the Patriots offense.

Maye’s second start could hardly be a more appetizing one in terms of fantasy points. The Jaguars, the “home team” at Wembley Stadium, rank dead last in aFPA to quarterbacks this season. They’re a pretty welcoming sight to all positions if we’re being honest. We probably shouldn’t kiss Maye into weekly QB1 projections just yet, but as a high-end QB2, he makes for an interesting streaming candidate in the week ahead.
