Scouting report

GB RB Eddie Lacy - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Eddie Lacy Week 10 vs. Bears
Eddie Lacy is starting to turn things around with his recent performances. Coming off a bye week, he should be nice and rested for the stretch run. Lacy had an OK performance in the first meeting with the Bears, gaining 59 total yards and scoring. Given his recent performances, you should expect more than that this week. Use Lacy as a low-end No. 1 back.

GB RB Eddie Lacy - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Eddie Lacy Week 8 vs. Saints
The good news is that Eddie Lacy found his way into the end zone for the fourth time in the past four games last week during a 63-yard effort against Carolina. The bad news? He had just 12 carries. Lacy is in a frustrating time share with James Starks and isn't getting enough carries to be considered a safe RB1 any longer. The Saints, however, have allowed six rushing touchdowns in six games this season. So feel free to use Lacy as a No. 2 back this week. Starks is also dealing with an ankle injury, which could shift more touched Lacy's way.

GB RB Eddie Lacy - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Eddie Lacy Week 7 vs. Panthers
Eddie Lacy continues to disappoint this season, at least in part due to his lack of usage. He got just 14 carries last week and managed 40 yards. He's also split time nearly 50-50 with James Starks the past two weeks. But there is some hope. Carolina allows an NFL-worst 5.5 yards per rushing attempt and has allowed five rushing TDs in six games. Due to his lack of touches, Lacy can't be considered a No. 1. But he should produce No. 2 back points this week. His livelihood depends on the touchdown.

GB RB Eddie Lacy - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Eddie Lacy Week 6 vs. Dolphins
Now that was more like it. Eddie Lacy had his first 100-yard game of the season, going for 105 yards and two scores on just 13 carries. Miami is 23rd in the league in terms of points allowed to opposing running backs. Lacy should be a solid start again this week.

GB RB Eddie Lacy - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Eddie Lacy Week 5 vs. Vikings
Eddie Lacy had a season high in rushing yards last week, but it was still only 48. He did score a touchdown to salvage the day, but he's obviously struggling. Minnesota has allowed more than 100 yards and a rushing touchdown to opposing backs in each of the past three weeks. Take last week's touchdown as a sign Lacy is coming out of his funk and start him again this week. He should produce some decent numbers.

GB RB Eddie Lacy - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Eddie Lacy Week 4 vs. Bears
Eddie Lacy certainly hasn't lived up to his draft status this season, including a poor 11-carry, 36-yard effort last week against the Lions. But don't give up on him yet - though I'm sure there have been plenty of offers. Chicago is giving up 4.9 yards per carry and Lacy should have a nice day on the ground this week. He'd better.

GB RB Eddie Lacy - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Eddie Lacy Week 3 vs. Lions
In two weeks, Lacy has just 25 combined carries for 77 yards. The Lions have given up just 87 yards rushing in their first two games, which doesn't sound like an inviting matchup, either. Lacy had a 99-yard game against the Lions last season, but also was limited to 16 yards on 10 carries in Detroit. Obviously, he hasn't performed up to snuff just yet, but better days are ahead. Use Lacy this week and hope he gets 20 touches. If that happens, there's a good chance he gets into the end zone. Though they haven't given up a lot of yards, the Lions have allowed a rushing TD in each of their first two games.
