The Jets are making their second kicker change in as many weeks.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus said that his client Eddy Pineiro is signing to the Jets’ active roster.

Fantasy Impact:

He will presumably take the place of Alex Kessman, who was added to the roster last week and missed a pair of extra points in Sunday’s 33-18 loss to the Eagles.

Colts are waiving kicker Eddy Pineiro, per source, meaning Rodrigo Blankenship wins Indy’s kicking job.

Fantasy Impact:

Schefter said Pineiro did not miss a kick this preseason and could draw interest on waivers with some teams struggling at kicker right now. The knock on Blankenship is his range, but he wins the job and is ranked 8th among our kickers this year.

Eddy Pineiro was the only kicker to make it through the cut to 53 players in Chicago, but he won’t be playing against the Lions in Sunday’s opener to the 2020 season.

The Bears announced on Tuesday that Pineiro has been placed on injured reserve.

Fantasy Impact:

Santos competed with Pineiro this summer and signed to the Bears practice squad after getting released last weekend. He can be added to the active roster or called up to kick before being returned to the practice squad after the game. The Bears could make that move twice before Santos would have to be released and re-signed in order to remain with the team.
