Week 11 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Eli Manning got his second win of the season Monday night against the 49ers, throwing for three touchdowns and no interceptions. While he only had 188 yards, it was good to see him connecting with star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for a pair of touchdowns after only two such connections over the first eight games of the year.
This week, Manning has some upside against the Buccaneers. Only the Saints and the Bengals are allowing more fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season, and while they held Alex Smith in check last week, expect better things from Manning and his weapons. Manning is too risky to bank on in traditional leagues, but for fantasy owners with bye week issues or in two-quarterback or superflex leagues, he’s worth considering.
