Scouting report

NYJ WR Eric Decker - Week 9, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs Jacksonville
Eric Decker has been solid all year and he was again last week against the Raiders, with six catches for 60 yards and a touchdown. He is still struggling with a bad knee, but will play on Sunday. The Jaguars are 12th in aFPA to wide receivers, so Decker will be able to get some fantasy points this week. Of course, his biggest strength has been getting in the end zone which has happened in every game he has played but one. Start Decker as a solid WR2 for Week 9 against the Jags.

NYJ WR Eric Decker - Week 8, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Oakland

Eric Decker actually had the strongest numbers last week against New England with 12 targets and six catches for 94 yards. He has had solid stats considering the numbers his teammate Brandon Marshall has put up this season. Decker is nursing a sore knee and is listed as questionable, but he did practice on Thursday and is expected to play.

He will face the Raiders in Week 8 (who are 8th in aFPA to wide receivers), so the matchup favors the Oakland defense. However, we expect Decker to continue to put up good numbers because of the way the Jets use their passing game with QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. Start Decker as a low-end WR2 this week.

NYJ WR Eric Decker - Week 7, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs New England
Eric Decker reached the end zone again last week and now has scored one in every game he has played. He had four receptions which has been the norm, but he is still a legit target for QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. Decker is listed as probable for the game with a sore knee, but will play. The matchup this week looks good for Decker as the Patriots are 26th in aFPA to wide receivers. Start Decker as a solid WR2 for Week 7 and hope he continues to get in the end zone.

NYJ WR Eric Decker - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs Washington
Nobody needed the bye week more than Eric Decker. The full week off gave him some time to heal, and now his snaps and targets should return to what a No. 2 wide receiver is used to.

Decker had already been an fantasy asset with a touchdown in every game he has played and he also reached double digit targets back in Week 2, so there is plenty of potential for production. He will face the Redskins who are 14th in aFPA to wide receivers, so the numbers should be pretty good. Start him as a solid WR3 or flex for Week 6.

NYJ WR Eric Decker - Week 4, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs Dolphins
Eric Decker was off the fast start, but missed Week 3 with knee problems. He has been limited in practice, but is still expected to play in London on Sunday. If he does play, he won't be 100 percent and with the long trip, we don't know how he will react. A healthy Decker will probably be a fantasy factor most of the season, but it still remains to be seen about Week 4. Rank him as a low-end WR3 and if you need him, play him.

NYJ WR Eric Decker - Week 3, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs Eagles
Eric Decker is questionable with a knee injury and was limited in practice on Thursday. Even if he can suit up, he won't be 100 percent. Keep an eye on the injury report on Sunday for Decker's status.

NYJ WR Eric Decker - Week 2, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Indianoplis

Last week was a slow start for Eric Decker, despite him getting into the end zone for his first touchdown of the season. He was only targeted three times and caught two passes total. Brandon Marshall is the No. 1 gu,y so Decker will have more days like this with an occasional big day sprinkled in here and there.

The Jets face the Colts in Week 2, who have an above average pass defense. Decker is in play this week as a low-end WR3 or flex. He won't win your matchup this week, but can be a contributor.
