Steelers TE Eric Ebron is expected to miss extended time as he braces for potential knee surgery, per source.

Fantasy Impact:

Ebron, who got injured Week 11, is waiting on a second opinion but a procedure is the likely approach as of now, the tweet went on to say. Ebron was coming off a 3-29-1 game in Week 11. With all the outside receivers getting most of the love, there is almost nothing left over for the tight ends. Eric Ebron saw just two targets against the Bills and split offensive snaps with Pat Freiermuth. The tight end situation in Pittsburgh has become very muddied for fantasy purposes. It may be best to steer clear and see if one takes a step forward ahead of the other as time goes on.
