LAC TE Hunter Henry - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chargers are red hot and go into Kansas City in a game Saturday that will greatly decide the division race. And don't look now, but the Chargers are back to consistently using Hunter Henry. He has 15+ PPR points in three straight weeks. The Chiefs are 21st in aFPA to TEs and not too far from that ranking in the past four weeks in terms of yards allowed to TEs. The possibility of another disappearing act is there for Henry, but that's the case for every tight end this year outside of the elite options. Henry is locked in as a TE1 in Week 15.

LAC TE Hunter Henry - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Washington Redskins

The Chargers have the second highest implied team total this weekend in Vegas at 26.25 points, and Washington is only 25th in aFPA to TEs. It seems the Chargers are back to smartly using Henry as a pass-catcher again, with back-to-back weeks playing more than 70% of snaps with 12 catches for 157 yards and a touchdown in that span. That usage and the matchup make Henry a top-10 TE for the fantasy postseason's opening week.

LAC TE Hunter Henry - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Cleveland Browns

The Chargers are surging with 82 points in their last two games, and now they get a revenge game against the lowly Browns, as the Chargers were the only team Cleveland beat last year. The Chargers have the highest implied team total of the week at 28.75 points. Receiver Mike Williams is likely out. The Browns are ranked 31st against TEs in aFPA. Hunter Henry is averaging 12.8 PPR points in the six games he's received at least 5 targets. All of this means he's a viable streaming option once again this week, with his usual frustrating floor.

LAC TE Hunter Henry - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Dallas Cowboys

Hunter Henry's usage is beyond frustrating. After a three-week stretch of playing more than 70% of the snaps from Weeks 5-7, he's been below a 70% snap count since with just 43 yards total. Dallas is above-average against tight ends. You just can't trust Henry at this point in your starting lineups.

LAC TE Hunter Henry - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Buffalo Bills

Buffalo is top-five in our aFPA vs. WR rankings but only 16th in aFPA vs. TEs. Hunter Henry streamers hope that will funnel targets his way. That wasn't the case last week, though, with a head-scratching 2 targets against a Jaguars defense that was even tougher against WRs. The Chargers coaching staff is just too inconsistent in its weekly usage of Henry to have any confidence in him week in and week out; however, if you need a TE streamer, it's just going to be a roll of the dice each week to see if he's targeted. It's certainly not for a lack of talent.

LAC TE Hunter Henry - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars are first in our aFPA vs. WR rankings and first in overall PPR points per game allowed to the position. It could not get any worse for Chargers receivers this week against Jalen Ramsey and company. However, that should funnel some targets to Hunter Henry (if the Chargers actually let him run routes). Jacksonville is just 24th in our aFPA vs. TE rankings. Consider Henry a low-end TE1 in Week 10.

LAC TE Hunter Henry - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at New England Patriots

This Chargers-Patriots game has the second-highest over/under in Vegas of Week 8 at 48 points, potentially foreshadowing a shootout. The Patriots rank 23rd in our aFPA vs. TE rankings and have allowed the eighth-most PPR points per game to fantasy TEs. Plus, Hunter Henry is TE7 in both formats, despite having two games where he wasn't even targeted. Henry's increased role makes him a solid TE1 in Week 8 and moving forward.
