Week 17 at Denver Broncos
UPDATE: Tyrell Williams will play in Week 17

In Week 16, Renfrow exploded with seven receptions on nine targets, 107 yards, one touchdown, 36 air yards, 30% of the team targets, 26% of the team air yards, and finished as the half PPR WR6.

The Raiders are motivated to win because they still have a slim chance of making the playoffs. A lot of pieces would have to fall into place but it is still mathematically possible.

Tyrell Williams missed practice on Thursday with ongoing issues caused by plantar fasciitis. Monitor Williams’ status closely because Renfrow could receive a boost if Williams is ruled out. Hunter Renfrow missed the last three games with a broken rib and a punctured lung. Evidently three weeks is long enough to recover from these injuries because he is set to return this week.

In Week 11, Renfrow saw his snaps drop to 44% but was still able to produce a decent fantasy performance. He had five receptions on six targets, 66 receiving yards, 43 air yards, zero touchdowns, 21% of the team targets, 23% of the team air yards, and finished as the half PPR WR30.

Starting a wide receiver with a snap percentage around 50% is very risky but Renfrow can be a desperation PPR start against a porous Jets defense. Renfrow shook off a couple of tackles and got loose for a 65-yard touchdown. He finished with four receptions on four targets, 88 yards, 14 air yards, one touchdown 13% of the team targets, and 5% of the team air yards. Renfrow is a capable slot receiver but Carr’s favorite target short yardage target is still Darren Waller.
