Scouting report

MIA WR Jarvis Landry - Week 10, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at San Diego
Jarvis Landry is struggling, failing to find the end zone in five consecutive games and coming off his second fewest targets of the season, with six against the Jets. It's clear Adam Gase has made the run game with Jay Ajayi the emphasis moving forward. Landry did have eight receptions for 54 yards last season against the Chargers, but that only shows more that he's a fringe WR2 in standard and high-end WR2 PPR play in Week 10.

MIA WR Jarvis Landry - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. New York Jets
Landry checks in as a WR1 Week 9 against a bad Jets secondary. In his last four games against the Jets, Landry is averaging 7.5 receptions for 82 yards, including 165 yards and a touchdown his last game against New York last season.

MIA WR Jarvis Landry - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Buffalo
Landry's 9.5 targets per game keeps his floor high enough to remain in weekly WR2 rankings, and that is again the case in Week 7 against the Bills. In his past four games against the Bills, Landry has averaged 7.25 receptions for 57 yards, but has scored just once in those games. However, in the two games against Buffalo last year, Landry had 13 targets in each of those games. That is the volume we should expect Sunday, as Landry is a top-15 option.

MIA WR Jarvis Landry - Week 6, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Pittsburgh
This one against the Steelers could get ugly, but garbage time points count just the same. That is, if the Dolphins can protect somewhat after only running 35 offensive plays last week. If that happens, Landry should get a ton of targets. His three targets last week were the first case of Landry not getting 10+ targets this season. We expect the targets to return and return WR2 value in all formats.

MIA WR Jarvis Landry - Week 5, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Tennessee
Jarvis Landry has a 20-plus percent target share on his team, and that is fantasy gold, especially one that plays from behind often. He's much more valuable in PPR than standard, however, as his struggling offense is making it difficult to find the end zone consistently. Consider him a WR2 with WR1 upside this week.

MIA WR Jarvis Landry - Week 4, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Cincinnati
Even with DeVante Parker receiving an increased role, Landry's targets have been safe. Since Parker's return, Landry has 25 targets to Parker's 19. Landry has 10-plus targets in seven consecutive games. He is also tied for an NFL-best 24 receptions. He's always a must-start in PPR leagues. At Cincinnati on Thursday night, we still see him as a WR1 in both scoring formats.

MIA WR Jarvis Landry - Week 3, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Cleveland
Landry is still Tannehill's favorite target, after 13 more targets last week. Now, he faces a Browns defense that has allowed more than 150 yards and two touchdowns per game to opposing wide receivers. Even in standard leagues, Landry is a top-20 option this week. Start him.
