Fantasy Upside
Tony Romo loves to find Jason Witten, especially when he is in trouble. Witten continues to be effective although he is not in the same category as the impact tight ends. But he still catches 80 balls a season and he will get in the end zone. Witten has aged gracefully and if he is healthy, we will see more of the game.
Fantasy Downside
Health and age are the things fantasy owners should worry about with Witten. He still can do things that make him valuable if he can stay on the field. The Cowboys will try to get more players involved in the offense which could bring Witten's numbers down slightly.
Bottom Line
Witten is as consistent as they come. He is still a solid No. 1 fantasy tight end and will continue to be one. One has to wonder when his numbers will start to regress, but the Cowboys don't really have another option for his role. Witten has an ADP of 71 which is about where he should be selected unless you think the regression is starting in 2014.
