Scouting report

CAR TE Ja'Tavion Sanders - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Ja’Tavion Sanders set a new season-high in yardage in Week 9 (87), thanks in large part to a massive 46-yard catch-and-run from a dump-off. It also included a tight end hurdle, and who doesn’t love those? He should continue to be a part of the offense, but the environmental upside caps his ceiling —though he did find the end zone for the first time in Week 10. Sanders is a decent-floor streaming play for teams in need.

CAR TE Ja'Tavion Sanders - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. New York Giants
Ja’Tavion Sanders set a new season-high in yardage last week (87), thanks in large part to a massive 46-yard catch-and-run from a dump-off. It also included a tight end hurdle, and who doesn’t love those? He should continue to be a part of the offense, but the Giants rank 2nd in TE aFPA, which pushes him out of streaming consideration in typical fantasy leagues.

CAR TE Ja'Tavion Sanders - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 @ Denver Broncos
Rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders has been on a good run of late, but with Andy Dalton sidelined in Week 8, he won't be worth a look in all but the deepest TE premium leagues. Keep your eye on the future though, as he could return to the streaming conversation before too long.

CAR TE Ja'Tavion Sanders - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 @ Washington Commanders
Rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders saw the most work of his young career these last two weeks, running a new season-high in routes (31) in Week 5, before turning seven targets into a 5-49-0 line in Week 6. Nothing eye-popping here, but he saw enough usage with Ian Thomas missing that we should keep an eye on him. Unless you're in super deep, TE Premium leagues, keep Sanders on your bench until we see another performance like this.

CAR TE Ja'Tavion Sanders - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Atlanta Falcons
Rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders saw the most work of his young career, running a new season-high in routes (31) and turning five targets into a 3-13-0 stat line. Nothing eye-popping here, but he saw far more action (45 snaps) than Tommy Tremble (16) and Feleipe Franks (4), which means we should keep an eye on him. Unless you're in super deep, TE Premium leagues, keep Sanders on your bench until we see another performance like this.
