MIA RB Jay Ajayi - Week 10, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at San Diego
Jay Ajayi's emergence as a top-10 RB has been one of the biggest surprises of the season. He now faces the Chargers who are 25th in adjusted fantasy points allowed to running backs. AJayi's heavy workload (26+ touches three straight weeks) combined with his production (500+ rushing yards in three games) make him a lock as an RB1 in Week 10.

MIA RB Jay Ajayi - Week 9, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. New York Jets
Ajayi will try to become the only player with three consecutive 200-yard rushing games in NFL history this week, but it comes against an extremely tough Jets rush defense. At this point, Ajayi should be in your starting lineups, but temper expectations. The range of outcomes is large here. We have him as a mid-RB1 in standard and low-RB1 in PPR. His volume alone at this point though locks him into your lineups.

MIA RB Jay Ajayi - Week 7, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Buffalo
Jay Ajayi's monster game last week has led to renewed optimism about his fantasy stock moving forward, however, don't forget we haven't seen his usage with a healthy Arian Foster yet, and we will see that this week. We are projecting 13-14 touches, a far cry from his 26 touches last week. That makes Ajayi a borderline flex option against the Bills. This is a wait-and-see situation, as we'll need to see if his high volume usage continues.

Plus, the Dolphins could be without their above-average blocking tight end Dion Sims, which would also hurt the running game this week.

MIA RB Jay Ajayi - Week 6, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Pittsburgh
Arian Foster's likely return puts Jay Ajayi back in handcuff territory. He should not be anywhere near your starting lineups, despite a touchdown last week.

MIA RB Jay Ajayi - Week 5, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Tennessee
Head Coach Adam Gase said he will do away from the four-man committee this week, but we still don't know what the split will be between Jay Ajayi and Kenyan Drake. Because of that, both are not good options for your starting lineup Week 5 against the Titans.

MIA RB Jay Ajayi - Week 4, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Cincinnati
Take away Jay Ajayi's 11-yard overtime touchdown last week, and he only had six carries for 17 yards. We're looking at a full-blown committee in Miami with Arian Foster out. Ajayi likely won't get the touches required to be dependable in an already difficult matchup against the Bengals in Week 4.

MIA RB Jay Ajayi - Week 3, 2016 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Cleveland
With Arian Foster likely out, it's unclear if Ajayi will be the featured back or part of a committee for the Dolphins. It's clear the coaches don't have a ton of confidence in him after making him inactive Week 1. Ajayi then fumbled last week after Foster went out. Head Coach Adam Gase said Wednesday he has confidence in all his backs, opening the door for a full running back by committee. Ajayi is more of a wait-and-see this week, unless you feel lucky enough to hope he falls into the end zone.
