Scouting report

NYJ WR Jeremy Kerley - Week 17, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17: Kerley vs Dolphins
Percy Harvin is all banged up so this should put Jeremy Kerley on the field more in Week 17. That should not make much of a difference with the Jets offense struggling overall. Kerley, even getting the start, has very little fantasy value.

NYJ WR Jeremy Kerley - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15: Kerley vs Titans
Jeremy Kerley should see more playing time with Percy Harvin nursing a bad ankle and game-time decision. Even with a decent matchup, we don't see much value. Keep Kerley away from your starting lineup.

NYJ WR Jeremy Kerley - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8: Kerley vs Bills
No doubt Jeremy Kerley's fantasy status took a blow this week with the acquisition of Percy Harvin, but to be honest, it wasn't that great all season long anyway. Kerley is a good candidate to waive at this point as he will still see the field, but not be deeply involved in the offense.

NYJ WR Jeremy Kerley - Week 7, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7: Kerley vs. Patriots
It has been a tough time for all the Jets skill players, but Jeremy Kerley has been one of the worst. Only five catches for 31 yards over the last three games and that was with Eric Decker out. And Greg Salas actually received more snaps than Kerley against the Broncos.

Kerley has a touch matchup with the Patriots who are in the top 10 in aFPA to wide receivers. He should remain on the bench for Week 7 against New England.

NYJ WR Jeremy Kerley - Week 6, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6: Kerley vs. Broncos
Jeremy Kerley has only four catches the past two games and that's with No. 1 receiver Eric Decker ailing. The Jets passing game is a mess right now. The Broncos pass defense will not make it any better this week. Sit Kerley for Week 6.

NYJ WR Jeremy Kerley - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5: Kerley vs. Chargers
Jeremy Kerley only had one catch for three yards last week and we would like to think with Eric Decker struggling with a hamstring injury, that would upgrade Kerley's status. But the Jets passing game is not good right now and the Chargers have shut down fantasy wide receivers. Keep Kerley on the bench even if Decker sits.

NYJ WR Jeremy Kerley - Week 4, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4: Kerley vs Lions
Jeremy Kerley was targeted 11 times last week because the Jets were throwing the ball all over the field and their No. 1 receiver Eric Decker left the game with an injury.

The Jets do not expect to have Geno Smith throw the ball 43 times this week and they are also playing against a very good Detroit defense.

Because of that, this is not a good matchup for any of the Jets receivers. Kerley's value is not good enough to play him this week although it becomes borderline if Decker does not play.
