CHI TE Jimmy Graham - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 vs. Green Bay Packers

Just when you think Cole Kmet is about to take over, Jimmy Graham comes out of nowhere to finish 4-69-2. Graham's had a weird year, as he's only averaging 30.1 yards per game, but has scored eight touchdowns, which is third among tight ends. He's basically a touchdown-or-bust type player, which is what he'll be in Week 17 against the Packers. In his previous matchup against Green Bay, Graham finished 3-32 on four targets.

Week 15 at Minnesota Vikings

Jimmy Graham caught a touchdown last week, but his role in this offense is obviously diminishing. He's playing fewer snaps than Cole Kmet, and seeing fewer targets than the rookie. Graham is nothing more than a touchdown-dependent TE in Week 15.

Week 14 vs. Houston Texans

Jimmy Graham has seen fewer snaps than Cole Kmet in each of the last three games. As a result, Graham has put up a goose egg twice in the last three games. Graham had some appeal early on in the season, but is off the fantasy radar now.

Week 13 vs. Detroit Lions

Jimmy Graham finished 3-32 on four targets last week after recording a goose egg the week prior. It's nice to see Graham back involved in the offense, but his 30.4 yards per game average isn't overly impressive. This week, Graham faces a Lions defense that has allowed the fewest total receptions to tight ends so far this season. Graham finished 3-25-1 when he faced the Lions in Week 1. He's not much more than a touchdown-dependent tight end in Week 13.

Week 12 at Green Bay Packers

Jimmy Graham finished with a goose egg last week (on two targets) as the Bears' offense struggled overall. This now makes three games this season below 20 receiving yards. In addition, Graham only has two games above 50 receiving yards. He's pretty reliable for around 30-40 yards and has scored a touchdown in four games. At this point, he's a touchdown-dependent fantasy option. He'll face a Packers defense that has only given up three scores to tight ends this season.

Week 10 vs. Minnesota Vikings

Jimmy Graham caught all six of his targets for 55 yards and a touchdown last week. Graham has seen five or more targets in every game Nick Foles has played in, averaging about 4.4 receptions for 37 yards in those games. Those are similar to the numbers we're projecting for Graham in Week 10, making him a low-end TE1 play against the Vikings.

Week 9 at Tennessee Titans

Jimmy Graham saw a healthy seven targets last week, but only finished with two receptions for 13 yards. Before this game, he was pretty consistent with his production, so we can chalk this up to him just having an off-game. We're predicting his usual 30-40-yard performance this week against the Titans, making him a low-end TE1 play.
