SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 7, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at San Francisco

Well, there he is. Jimmy Graham finally showed up on the fantasy tight end list as one of the best performers of Week 6. He was targeted 12 times and caught eight passes for 140 yards - all season highs. He didn't score, but his owners can now hope this is how Seattle will use Graham moving forward.

The matchup for Week 7 is a good one with the 49ers 27th in aFPA to tight ends. Graham is a top-5 fantasy tight end and should be started in all formats against San Francisco.

SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 6, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs Carolina
Jimmy Graham had to cringe Thursday night watching tight end Ben Watson have a career-night for his old team the Saints. Graham is just not getting that type of love in Seattle. Three catches for 30 yards is very average, and we are not used to that in Graham. Although he should be in your starting lineup against Carolina this week, it is not as one of the top-5 tight ends, but as a solid TE1.

SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 5, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 at Cincinnati

After a breakthrough Week 3 performance for Jimmy Graham, Week 4 was nothing to write home about. Four catches for 29 yards isn't what we are used to, although we have seen those type of numbers three of the four weeks.

QB Russell Wilson only threw 26 passes last week, so that limits what the receivers can do and that's fine with Seattle. They don't want 40 passes by Wilson, which was commonplace for Graham's last QB Drew Brees. Still, Graham is a stud and can have a big game at anytime, which is why he still a top 5 tight end this week against Cincinnati, who actually is very good against opposing tight ends (3rd in aFPA). Start Graham in all formats.

SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 4, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs Detroit

What you got from Jimmy Graham last week is what you will probably get most weeks, and that's not a bad thing. If you are expecting Saints numbers, you are not realistic. Seattle has a different type of offense.

Graham was targeted eight times and scored his second touchdown of the season. He is in Russell Wilson's sight line, so he will be used. This week is a good matchup as the Lions have been one of the worst teams against opponents tight ends. Start Graham in all leagues and formats.

SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 3, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs Chicago

How can Jimmy Graham only be targeted twice in a game? That's the answer Seahawks fans want to know (and Graham's fantasy owners as well). After targeted Graham just twice last week, Pete Carroll has to find a way to get his big offseason acquisition the ball.

Graham is a gigantic weapon and can put up good numbers on a weekly basis. We think last week was a fluke and we will see at least eight targets and some red zone chances for Graham this week. He has a very good matchup against the Bears, so start Graham in all leagues and formats as a top-5 fantasy tight end.

SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 2, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 at Green Bay
Week 1 was a good start for Jimmy Graham in his Seahawks debut. He was targeted 8 times, caught six passes and more importantly, had a red zone touchdown (which is why they traded for him in the first place).

Graham will always create matchup problems, no matter what uniform he wears. The Packers will have some issues Sunday night with him. Start him in all leagues as a top-5 fantasy tight end for Week 2.

SEA TE Jimmy Graham - Week 1, 2015 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs Rams
Jimmy Graham isn't the automatic No. 2 overall fantasy tight end, but doesn't mean he is not still a great fantasy option. The Seahawks have never really used their tight ends in the passing game during the Pete Carroll era, but they also never had a talent like Graham. Even against a very good Rams pass defense, Graham comes in as a top-5 fantasy tight end based on his talent alone. Start him in all leagues.
