Carinals QB Derek Anderson (head) did not practice Wednesday. John Skelton and newly signed Richard Bartell split snaps with the starters. HC Ken Whisenhunt has not yet named a starter, but we expect Skelton to eventually get the nod. A 5th round draft pick out of Fordham, Skelton certainly isn't a fantasy option, but it's hard to see him being too much of a downgrade from the likes of Derek Anderson and Max Hall. Still, the Broncos are a sneaky DEF start in week 14.

The Arizona Cardinals aren't making an announcement about who will start at quarterback yet but it appears more likely that John Skelton will get the nod this weekend.

Derek Anderson has yet to pass all his concussion tests and thus has not been cleared to practice. He will be evaluated again Wednesday. Because of that, John Skelton and just signed Richard Bartel will compete for the vacant starting job.

It is unlikely that a newly signed quarterback could start with just three practices so the it is looking more likely that Skelton will start this weekend.
