Fantasy Upside
Todman is in a competition for touches behind Frank Gore in Indianapolis with Josh Ferguson, Robert Turbin, and Tyler Varga. If he were to emerge as the back-up RB after the preseason, he would have some handcuff value.
Fantasy Downside
Even if Todman were to win the back-up job behind Gore, Gore hasn’t missed a game in five years. Even at Gore’s age, the back-up to him didn’t have any fantasy value in 2015 with the Colts. Plus, there’s no way to determine if Gore’s handcuff would get starter touches if Gore suffered an injury or if it would be a RBBC situation.
Bottom Line
Todman is not a player you will be drafting in 2016, barring a Gore preseason catastrophe and Todman winning the back-up job.
