Situation between Bills and WR Stefon Diggs has been "blown out of proportion

While talking with the Bussin' With the Boys podcast, Bills QB Josh Allen remarked, "The media has blown this so far out of proportion. We are in rookie or minicamp. We're not playing a game for four months. He doesn't show up for one day. He's still there. Coach asked him to go home. They're in talks. They're trying to resolve some things. It wasn't anything major. And (the) media blew it up. They're still talking about it. Let it go. There's no reason to continue talking about it."

Fantasy Impact:

In the doldrums of the first week of July, news is slow, and the back-and-forth regarding Diggs continues to sway from positive to negative. The situation is still worth monitoring, regardless of what Allen is saying here. Though we're still a long way away from regular season kickoff, we have seen multiple occasions in recent years in which an unhappy wide receiver pops back into the news throughout the year. Diggs is currently sitting as the WR5 in our WR rankings.

Heavy snow predicted for Dolphins-Bills game

The Dolphins and Bills are set to face off for the second time this season Saturday night, when several outlets are projecting heavy snow to fall on Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. It would mark Tua Tagovailoa's first time playing in the snow in his NFL career, but he said apart from spending time in the cold tub last week while the team practiced in Los Angeles, he hasn't put much thought into Saturday's playing conditions.

Fantasy Impact:

While a game in heavy snow will be fun to watch, those with fantasy stock in the game and owning Bills and Dolphins players may want to think about their lineups. It's always tough to remove players like Tua and Allen from your lineups in the playoffs, but ugly weather can sometimes mean a hit to the passing game, even though slippery conditions does favor the offense. It will be something to keep an eye on heading into the weekend. The game is scheduled to be played Saturday night.

Fantasy Impact:

As we reported Tuesday, Allen didn't make the injury worse playing in Week 10 and it's safe to assume he'll be back on the field for Week 11. HC Sean McDermott said the team will continue the regimen from last week and will evaluate him each day and determine his practice load.

Head coach Sean McDermott said on Monday that there was no further issue with Josh Allen's elbow.

Fantasy Impact:

McDermott said Allen’s elbow is in a “good spot” coming out of the game and that the team will determine his practice schedule for the week. Offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey added that the game plan on Sunday was not limited by Allen’s injury, the story said. It also added there weren't many throws that were off the table in terms of play calling. Allen should be good for Week 11's game. The Bills host the Browns.
