The Jaguars officially have signed former Packers TE Josiah Deguara.

Related Players: Evan Engram, Luke Farrell

Fantasy Impact:

With the Packers drafting both Luke Musgrave and Tucker Kraft last season, Deguara ended up becoming expendable. Deguara earned 33 targets back in 2021 but hasn't matched that usage in the two seasons since. He will provide depth behind Evan Engram.

Week 12 vs. Los Angeles Rams
Week 11 saw Green Bay Packers' tight end/fullback hybrid Josiah Deguara catch his first NFL touchdown pass, which could be a sign of good things to come. The Packers have been in desperate need of a receiving threat at that spot since Robert Tonyan's season-ending injury, and Deguara – a 2020 third-round draftee – has the potential to develop into that.

For Week 12, however, we expected Deguara to be on the bottom rung of the top-40 fantasy tight ends. Our models project Deguara as a low-end TE3/4 in spite of the Los Angeles Rams' sixth-highest ranking by schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed (aFPA) to tight ends.
