TEN RB Julius Chestnut - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Houston Texans

With Tyjae Spears out with a concussion, Julius Chestnut moves back into the RB2 spot behind Tony Pollard. Chestnut will be more of a spell back than the 1A/1B combo of Tony Pollard and Spears. He's a very deep option, even in a week with six teams on a bye.

With Tyjae Spears out, Julius Chestnut is the backup to Tony Pollard. But with just seven carries last week, Chestnut doesn't get the volume to really eat into Pollard's fantasy value. Chestnut can stay on the bench this week.

Week 17 vs. Dallas Cowboys
Julius Chestnut appears set to take on some pass catching duties for the Titans with Derrick Henry looking questionable for Thursday night's game and Dontrell Hilliard on IR. Chestnut has surpassed five touches in a game once this season and would likely split work with Hassan Haskins even if Henry sits out. In a tough matchup against the Cowboys' ferocious defense, Chestnut is not an advisable fantasy play in what could be a completely lifeless offense for Tennessee with Malik Willis under center Thursday night.
