Scouting report

WAS RB Kapri Bibbs - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Dallas Cowboys (Thanksgiving)

Colt McCoy takes over at quarterback for the rest of the season for Washington, which should only stabilize Adrian Peterson's volume in the rushing game. However, with Chris Thompson still out, there's little reason to believe in Kapri Bibbs. The passing down back has four consecutive games with fewer than three receptions. Stay away in a game with the second lowest total on the Week 12 slate and Washington having an implied team total under 17 points.

WAS RB Kapri Bibbs - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Houston Texans

Washington is a team that is built around its defense and ball-control offense. This team is third in time of possession, but for fantasy purposes, Washington has an implied team total in Week 11 of only 19.75 points. Only Oakland is lower. However, Chris Thompson is unlikely to play again, keeping Adrian Peterson's volume intact. He's seen 20+ touches in three of his past four games. So Kapri Bibbs isn't somebody to rely on even with Thompson out, as Bibbs has just three receptions over the past two weeks. You are touchdown hunting if you desperation play him in Week 11.

WAS RB Kapri Bibbs - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Let's check in on the Washington offense as they begin the second half of their season: 25th in total offense, 25th in scoring offense and 24th in passing offense. It's a good thing they have Adrian Peterson this year (imagine saying that in early September). Tampa Bay is bottom 10 in the NFL in aFPA to RBs, but even with Chris Thompson out, Kapri Bibbs cannot be counted on as a flier in fantasy lineups. He simply has not received enough volume in previous weeks where Thompson has missed time.

WAS RB Kapri Bibbs - Week 17 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 at New York Giants

Washington will look to finish the season on a high note, with most starters playing in Week 17, unless injured. Kapri Bibbs will again be in the Chris Thompson-type role against a Giants defense that is just 29th in aFPA vs. RBs. Consider him a risky FLEX, with more upside in PPR leagues in Week 17. His 6 receptions the past two weeks raises his floor in that format.

WAS RB Kapri Bibbs - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. Denver Broncos

Samaje Perine injured his groin in practice Thursday, leaving his availability in question for this week's game against Denver. If he's a full participant Friday, there will be no need to worry. Otherwise, Kapri Bibbs could emerge as a sneaky start in a backfield that has run out of healthy bodies.
