Kenjon Barner was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles during the preseason and will be vying for a roster spot under his former college Head Coach Chip Kelly.
Barner will be familiar with the system and will be given consideration along with Chris Polk to backup LeSean McCoy, even if it’s unlikely he beats out the impressively versatile Polk for playing time.
Ultimately, Barner is worth watching to see if he makes the team and can work his way into the familiar offense, but buried on a depth chart and cast away from a Panthers team that needs a consistent run game, Barner has no fantasy value at this time.
