DET WR Kenny Golladay - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Buffalo Bills

Matthew Stafford threw for just 101 yards last week at Arizona, with Kenny Golladay finishing with only two receptions for five yards. The Lions' offense didn’t need to do much in the win, so consider the performance an anomaly. However, Stafford, Golladay and the Detroit aerial attack will be facing the No. 1 defense versus the pass on the road. Golladay is a WR3 option.

DET WR Kenny Golladay - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Arizona Cardinals

The Lions remain thin at WR, which has helped Kenny Golladay the past few weeks. In the loss to the Rams last Sunday, he was targeted eight times, the fourth straight game that Matthew Stafford has come his way at least that many times. While he finished with just three grabs for 50 yards last week, Golladay is an important part of the Lions passing attack and he’s on pace for his first 1,000-yard season. The Cardinals pass defense is No. 4, making Golladay a WR3/flex start.

DET WR Kenny Golladay - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs. Los Angeles Rams

With Marvin Jones placed on IR this week, Kenny Golladay will be the Lions No. 1 WR the rest of the season. On Thanksgiving versus the Bears, he was targeted a team-high eight times, resulting in five receptions for 90 yards. In the past three weeks, Matthew Stafford has thrown Golladay’s way 36 times, leading to an average of 94 yards and two TDs. The Rams are No. 19 versus the pass, making Golladay a WR2 play.

DET WR Kenny Golladay - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Chicago Bears

Kenny Golladay stepped up for the Lions last Sunday versus Carolina, snagging eight passes for 113 yards, including a diving TD to put his team ahead for the final time. Marvin Jones was out with a knee injury, so it was Golladay’s time to shine. He finished with 78 yards and a TD at Chicago earlier this month and will need to carry the load for the Detroit passing attack again, with Jones still out. Go ahead and keep on starting Golladay.

DET WR Kenny Golladay - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Carolina Panthers

In the loss to the Bears last week, Kenny Golladay led the Lions with 13 targets and 78 yards. He scored his fourth TD of the season and his first since October 7. While he hasn’t been over the century mark since Week 1, Golladay will continue to see plenty of looks from Matthew Stafford without Golden Tate on the team and Marvin Jones nursing a knee injury. Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers passing attack burned the Carolina D for 328 yards and five touchdowns last Thursday, so Golladay makes for a WR3 play.

DET WR Kenny Golladay - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at Chicago Bears

The Detroit offense struggled at Minnesota last Sunday, as Matthew Stafford was sacked 10 times. In the loss, Kenny Golladay was targeted four times, leading to three catches for 46 yards and an eight-yard run. Over the past three weeks, he has a total of just six receptions but will need to be a bigger part of the passing attack with Golden Tate gone. This doesn’t look like the week things will be better for Golladay and the Lions though, as they’ll be on the road at Chicago facing a good defense.

DET WR Kenny Golladay - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Minnesota Vikings

For the second straight week, Kenny Golladay was a forgotten member of the Lions passing attack. Even though Matthew Stafford threw 40 passes in the loss to the Seahawks, Golladay saw just one look, which resulted in a 12-yard grab. In the past two games, the WR has seen only three targets but at least he’s made the most of his opportunities, catching them all. Prior to the past two contests, Golladay had recorded at least four receptions in every game this season, so look for him to be utilized more at Minnesota on Sunday, especially with Golden Tate no longer part of the roster. He is a WR3/flex option.
