Scouting report

NO WR Kenny Stills - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16: Stills vs. Falcons
Kenny Stills caught five passes for 67 yards in the Saints’ Week 15 win over the Bears. He shared a team-high seven targets with Jimmy Graham and Marques Colston while running most of his routes versus Chicago’s Tim Jennings. He’ll have a challenge on his hands going against Atlanta’s Desmond Trufant this week but the Falcons have zero pass rush and that could lead to a big gain for Stills in one-on-one coverage. He ranks as our No. 17 overall WR and should be viewed as a solid WR2 play for Sunday.

NO WR Kenny Stills - Week 15, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15: Stills vs. Bears
Kenny Stills caught three-of-four passes for just 23 yards in the Saints’ Week 14 loss to the Panthers. Considering the Saints fell behind early and were forced to pass to get back into the game in the second half, Stills’ production was highly disappointing. (Not to mention Stills also posted a 5-162-1 line the week before.) While last week’s dud was concerning, Stills is still a low-end WR2, especially with a plus matchup against a brutal Chicago secondary this week. He’s currently ranked as our No. 24 WR for Week 15.

NO WR Kenny Stills - Week 14, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14: Stills vs. Panthers
Kenny Stills caught five-of-six targets for 162 yards and one touchdown in the Saints’ Week 13 win over the Panthers. Instead of being a situational deep threat in Sean Payton’s offense, Stills is now running more intermediate routes and has seen his targets jump to nine and six, respectively, over the past two weeks. He’s clearly the main benefactor of the season-ending injury to Brandin Cooks and can safely be viewed as a solid WR3 during your fantasy playoffs. He ranks as our No. 21 overall WR for Week 14.

NO WR Kenny Stills - Week 13, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13: Stills vs. Steelers
Kenny Stills caught eight passes for 98 yards and also rushed once for negative two yards as the Saints fell to the Ravens in Week 12. It's apparent that Stills will be the receiver to benefit from Brandin Cooks being placed on I.R. Usually a situational deep threat in Sean Payton's offense, Stills was targeted nine times on the night, which was a career high for him. Look for Drew Brees to continue to target him with Cooks out, which makes Stills an attractive WR3 moving forward. He ranks as our No. 31 overall WR in PPR formats and should be considered in WR3 and FLEX spots.

NO WR Kenny Stills - Week 12, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12: Stills vs. Ravens
Kenny Stills caught four passes for 32 yards and a touchdown on four targets last week in the Saints’ loss to the Bengals. Stills should benefit from the Saints placing rookie Brandin Cooks (thumb) on injured reserve. He’s largely been just a vertical option in Sean Payton’s offense, but the Saints will need to utilize his speed and playmaking ability with Cooks out. Thus, expect him to see more targets from here on out. Stills ranks as our No. 33 overall WR for Week 12, making him only a flex option for Monday’s game versus the Ravens. That said, he’s worth picking up as a flier in all formats.

NO WR Kenny Stills - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11: Stills vs. Bengals
Kenny Stills caught three passes on six targets for 26 yards in the Saints’ Week 10 loss to the 49ers. Stills remains a situational deep threat in Sean Payton’s offense and he’s stuck behind Jimmy Graham, Brandin Cooks and Marques Colston in the passing game. Even with Colston’s struggles, Stills hasn’t emerged as a reliable fantasy receiver. Avoid him in Week 11.

NO WR Kenny Stills - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10: Stills vs. 49ers
Kenny Stills caught 5-of-8 targets for 72 yards in the Saints’ Week 9 win over the Panthers. He’s topped 75 yards only once this season and his season high for receptions is five. As a situational deep threat in Sean Payton’s offense, Stills will remain a boom-or-bust fantasy option moving forward. Leave him on your waiver wire/bench as he ranks as our No. 49 overall WR for Week 10.
