49ers WR Deebo Samuel dealing with hamstring issue

If Deebo Samuel (hamstring) can't play against the Seahawks, Kendrick Bourne likely would start opposite Brandon Aiyuk, and Dante Pettis likely would be in uniform for the first time in three weeks. The 49ers also have the option of elevating Kevin White or River Cracraft from the practice squad.

Fantasy Impact:

The injury happened on a run play. Samuel was second among WRs in snaps behind Aiyuk and from what the article said, Bourne would step into Samuel's role if the injury keeps him out in Week 8.

CHI WR Kevin White - Week 1 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 1 vs. Atlanta Falcons

There wasn't a lot of hype surrounding Kevin White before the season, but after the injury to Cameron Meredith he became a "may as well draft him late, I guess" flier pick. A former seventh-overall pick, White is suddenly the most recognizable Bears wide receiver. This is now his third season in the league, but he's only played in four games throughout his career.

That's all an extended way of saying that it's hard to know exactly what White brings. He caught a few passes in the preseason, but not much to show us how he'll fit in as the No. 1 WR. He gets a decent matchup against Atlanta to start the season, but any Bears player not named Jordan Howard carries risk.

White should be viewed as a WR3/WR4 with some upside.
