BUF WR Khalil Shakir - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Miami Dolphins
The addition of Amari Cooper will undoubtedly take a bite out of every other receiver's target share, but it hasn't seemed to affect Khalil Shakir, who has 17 targets for 16 catches and 172 yards in the two weeks since the trade. He's getting a ton of the "safety valve" looks from Josh Allen and continues to be a smash WR2/3 in full PPR leagues. In other scoring formats, consider him a high-floor/low-ceiling WR3.

BUF WR Khalil Shakir - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 @ Seattle Seahawks
The addition of Amari Cooper will undoubtedly take a bite out of every other receiver's target share, but with the team unsure exactly how much he was going to play in his first week with the team, Khalil Shakir was able to produce a 7-65-0 stat line in Week 7. Shakir should continue to see his typical underneath targets, but without a lot of volume, it makes him a difficult click in fantasy. Consider him a fringe WR3/4 here in Week 8.

BUF WR Khalil Shakir - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Tennessee Titans
The addition of Amari Cooper will undoubtedly take a bite out of every other receiver's target share, but with the team unsure exactly how much he is going to play in his first week with the team, Khalil Shakir has a great chance to lead the way one last time. It's not a great matchup, but Shakir can be considered a WR4/desperation Flex in Week 7.

BUF WR Khalil Shakir - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 @ Baltimore Ravens
Khalil Shakir operated almost exclusively out of the slot in Week 1, delivering a disappointing 3.7 aDOT but earned 31 yards after the catch. This includes a screen play that he took 11 yards to the house. He followed that up with a more reasonable 5-54-0 line in Week 2 but continued his ascension with a 6-71-1 line in Week 3. He has established himself as the most reliable wide receiver for the Bills, and he should be considered a WR3 moving forward.

BUF WR Khalil Shakir - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars
Khalil Shakir operated almost exclusively out of the slot in Week 1, delivering a disappointing 3.7 aDOT but earned 31 yards after the catch. This includes a screen play that he took 11 yards to the house. He followed that up with a more reasonable 5-54-0 line in Week 2. His touchdowns aren't likely to be consistent throughout the year, but he's an interesting deep WR4/Flex play in what could end up being a high-scoring game.

Week 2 @ Miami Dolphins
Khalil Shakir operated almost exclusively out of the slot in Week 1, delivering a disappointing 3.7 aDOT but earned 31 yards after the catch. This includes a screen play that he took 11 yards to the house. His touchdowns aren't likely to be consistent throughout the year but he's an interesting deep WR4/Flex play in what could end up being a high-scoring game.

BUF WR Khalil Shakir - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Philadelphia Eagles
Khalil Shakir had only three catches but they went for 115 yards and a touchdown. He has actually outplayed No. 2 receiver Gabe Davis since early October although Shakir's numbers have been average. We aren't ready to promote him ahead of Davis just yet, but his fantasy stock has risen in recent weeks. Just not enough to warrant a start in Week 12.
