DEN WR K.J. Hamler - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Jets

KJ Hamler is always in play every week because all it takes is one pass and Hamler will meet his value for the week. This week he takes on a New York Jets team that's ranked 23rd in coverage according to PFF grades. Hamler also saw his snaps double from Week 1 (24) to Week 2 (49). If Hamler can take advantage of his opportunities, he could be a deep flex play this week.

DEN WR K.J. Hamler - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. Jaguars

K.J. Hamler just missed a 50-yard touchdown last week which would have made his numbers look way better than his final stat line of 4 targets/ 3 receptions/ 41 yards/ 0 TDs. Hamler has a great matchup this week facing off the Jaguars and the 21st ranked pass defense according to the 4for4 adjusted fantasy points (aFPA) tool.

DEN WR K.J. Hamler - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at New York Jets
With the help of a 17-yard catch, K.J. Hamler completed his second game in the NFL with three grabs for 30 yards. Denver QBs threw for 229 yards in the loss to the Bucs but none of the pass catchers posted very good numbers. It’s a short week and the Broncos had to travel across the country, which means it could be a sloppy performance in The Meadowlands, especially with first-time starter Brett Rypien under center. Hamler should only be started if you’re low on WR options.

DEN WR K.J. Hamler - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
After missing the opener, K.J. Hamler saw his first professional action last Sunday at Pittsburgh. In the loss, he was targeted seven times and snagged three passes for 48 yards. He also had one carry for nine yards. With Courtland Sutton lost for the season, the Broncos aerial attack will feature rookies Hamler and Jerry Jeudy. While they are both speedsters, there will be some growing pains and likely a few drops as well. Hamler makes for a WR3/flex play this week.
