Scouting report

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at Arizona
Miles Sanders rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns last week against a very good Saints defense. He ended up with a total of 18 touches on the day and was one of the best fantasy backs for Week 14. His workload will continue with Jalen Hurts at quarterback.

Sanders faces the Cardinals who are ranked 14th in aFPA to running backs. As long as he stays on the field, his fantasy numbers will be there.

Start Sanders as a low-end RB1 for Week 15 in all leagues and formats. The change at quarterback raised his stock because of the ability to run more RPOs with Hurts.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. New Orleans
The fact that Miles Sanders only had 10 touches last week shows how dysfunctional the Eagles offense has become. With Carson Wentz now on the bench and Jalen Hurts the starter, for now, the Eagles should be able to stabilize a gameplan that will include regular usage of Sanders. He is their best overall offensive weapon.

Sanders faces the Saints who are ranked first in aFPA to running backs. So, not exactly the best matchup to get Sanders going, but Philly still needs to get him touches even if it is tough sledding.

Sanders ranks as a high-end RB3 or flex for Week 14. The Eagles offense will struggle which pushes Sanders down the rankings, but if he is back to 15-18 touches, he should at least contribute something to your fantasy team.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Green Bay
You really have to scratch your head why Miles Sanders only had eight touches on Monday against Seattle. The total yardage was 22 after Sanders has averaged 5.6 yards per carry this season. The answer may be his health. He only played 60% of the offensive snaps so maybe the Eagles were taking it easy on him.

Sanders will face Packers who are 31st in aFPA to running backs in 2020. This is where the Eagles will have a huge advantage so let's see if Sanders gets back to his 18-20 touches.

Start him in all leagues and formats for Week 13 as an RB2. We expect the Eagles to take advantage of their best skill player and the advantage they have over the Packers.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Seattle
Since returning from injury, Miles Sanders has averaged 18 touches per game. The second-year back continues to be the most reliable fantasy option on the Eagles. He has averaged 88 yards from scrimmage over those two games with the only blotch being a fumble last Sunday.

Sanders faces the Seahawks who are 17th in aFPA to running backs. We expect a high-scoring game at the Linc and that means Sanders should be deeply involved in the offensive game plan.

Start Sanders as a low-end RB1 for Week 12 in both standard and PPR formats. Sanders is the third most targetted Eagle and that's with missing several games. Expect around 18-20 touches against Seattle and positive fantasy numbers.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at Cleveland

Miles Sanders returned to the lineup with a solid fantasy outing which produced 17 touches for 95 yards. No doubt the Eagles missed Sanders and he had his third-highest rush total of the season so he wasn't held back. Fantasy owners will be happy because Sanders still has good numbers even with the Eagles offense struggling overall.

Sanders will face the Browns who are 10th in aFPA to running backs. Cleveland has a decent run defense that doesn't get tested as much because their pass defense has struggled. However, Sanders is involved in both the running and passing games so he should flourish against the Browns.

Start Sanders as a low-end RB1 for Week 11 in both standard and PPR leagues. We expect him to have a big game with a lot of success on the touches he receives.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 at New York Giants
Miles Sanders hasn't played since October 18th but is expected to return to the field for Philly. Before the injury, he was putting up great fantasy numbers. If he is 100% after the bye week, those numbers could return, but expect the Eagles to be cautious and maybe give Boston Scott some of those third-down snaps.

Sanders faces the Giants who are 20th in aFPA to running backs. He missed the first meeting between the two teams, but the Eagles offense should put up a lot of points and yardage.

Start Sanders as an RB1 in standard leagues but he drops to a high-end RB2 in PPR leagues. We expect Scott to be more involved in the passing game to limit Sanders' snaps in his return.

PHI RB Miles Sanders - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. Baltimore
The two touchdowns and 80 yards rushing made it a good day for Miles Sanders owners. However, take into consideration that 74 yards came on one run. It counts, but it also means he rushed 10 other times for six yards. The 13 touches against Pittsburgh was also a season-low. What we take from this is Sanders is capable of making big plays but it is also a red flag that Philly's offense is still not reliable.

Sanders will face the Ravens defense which is eighth in aFPA to running backs. This run defense is even better than Pittsburgh, but the Eagles will make an effort to get more touches for him and that should produce more consistent numbers.

Start Sanders as a low-end RB1 for Week 6. Despite the tough matchup, Sanders is the best offensive weapon overall for the Eagles and I am including Zach Ertz.
