CHI QB Mitch Trubisky - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Philadelphia Eagles

Mitch Trubisky went back to his normal self last week, throwing for under 200 yards again. He's now thrown under 200 yards in five of his six starts and he hasn't had more than one score in any. He did produce a nice 53 yards on the ground last week, but that production is hard to predict as the game before he had no rush attempts.

He gets a somewhat difficult matchup this week against the Eagles, and there's really no reason to view Trubisky as a fantasy option. With the playoffs nearing, you should have an established QB and it shouldn't be someone with 4 touchdowns in six games.

CHI QB Mitch Trubisky - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Detroit Lions

Mitch Trubisky is actually throwing the ball now as he had a career-high in pass attempts (35) and yards (297) last week. He only had one score, and continues to go on without a multi-score game, which hurts his value as a fantasy option.

He gets a fairly difficult matchup this week against the Lions. Detroit hasn't been a lockdown defense, but it also hasn't allowed too many monster games to quarterbacks. Considering Trubisky has just three scores in five starts, it's safe to say he's among the poorer options at QB. It's best to look elsewhere this week.

CHI QB Mitch Trubisky - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs Green Bay Packers

The Bears have improved with Mitch Trubisky taking over at QB, but it hasn't done much from a fantasy perspective. In Trubisky's four starts, he's never had a multiple-touchdown game, and he's never thrown for 200 yards. Those are pretty low bars to set for a QB, and Trubisky can't even reach them.

Trubisky gets a decent matchup this week against the Packers, who have allowed a 300-yard passer in back-to-back games. But Trubisky doesn't pass enough and doesn't put up enough production to be worth a start in fantasy.

CHI QB Mitch Trubisky - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at New Orleans Saints

Last week we said Mitch Trubisky wasn't worth starting because of how little pass attempts he had the week before. Well, he somehow managed to throw even less, completing just 4-of-7 passes for 107 yards, highlighted by a 70-yard pass to Tarik Cohen.

It's not a surprise the Bears are leaning more on their great rushers than their rookie quarterback, but a combined 12 passes in the last two games is a little crazy. He'll likely have to pass the ball a little more this week in a game against the Saints, but it's still hard to trust him. Not only do the Bears not throw it much, but this might be the worst receiving group in the league. Trubisky is one of the worst QB options this week.

CHI QB Mitch Trubisky - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 vs. Carolina Panthers

Mitch Trubisky completed just 8 passes for 113 yards and a touchdown last week, and that was with overtime. The Bears opted for a run-heavy approach, finishing with 54 rush attempts. In Trubisky's first two games, he's barely been able to top 100 yards passing.

It doesn't really matter what the matchup is at this point for Trubisky. The Bears simply aren't trusting him to make enough throws where he'll be trustworthy in fantasy. He's one of the worst options at the position this week.

CHI QB Mitch Trubisky - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 at Baltimore Ravens

Mitch(ell) Trubisky didn't have a spectacular first game last week. He had just 128 passing yards, lucked into a touchdown, and threw an interception. He did show some mobility in the game, though, rushing 3 times for 22 yards and a two-point conversion. Overall, though, he doesn't offer much at the quarterback position.

Not only is Trubisky a poor option in general, but he gets a tough matchup this week against the Ravens. Baltimore has only allowed one multiple-touchdown game to quarterbacks this season and have forced 9 interceptions. Trubisky is among one of the worst QB options this week.

CHI QB Mitch Trubisky - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. Minnesota Vikings

After four awful weeks of Mike Glennon, the Bears have decided to turn to rookie quarterback Mitch(ell) Trubisky. The first-year player looked pretty good in the preseason, completing 68% of his passes with 3 touchdowns and 0 interceptions, but the Vikings secondary isn't exactly second and third-string defenders.

It's hard to know what to expect from Trubisky in his first game, which is why you probably shouldn't be looking at him as an option in fantasy. Not only is this a bad matchup, but Trubisky is making his first start, and he doesn't have a lot of weapons around him. Plus, the Bears like to run the ball with their two capable backs.

Trubisky should be viewed as one of the worst QB options this week.
