DEN RB Phillip Lindsay - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at San Francisco 49ers

In the win over the Bengals last Sunday, Phillip Lindsay ran wild for 157 yards and two TDs on a career-high 19 carries. He has totaled over 100 yards in three straight games and has become the clear featured back for the Broncos. Lindsay will be facing a San Francisco defense that allows 108 yards per game on the ground, so look for another strong game from the rookie.

Week 13 at Cincinnati Bengals

Against a good Steelers run defense last Sunday, Phillip Lindsay registered his second 100-yard rushing game. On 14 carries, he ran for a career-high 110 yards and a TD – the seventh time he’s been in the end zone, including three the past two weeks. While he’s had more than 20 touches in a game just once, Lindsay is averaging 88 scrimmage yards. Cincinnati’s owns the worst overall defense, so look for another good outing from the rookie.

Week 12 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

In the win against the Chargers last Sunday, Phillip Lindsay posted his first multiple TD performance as a pro, scoring on a 41 and two-yard run. He led Denver with 11 carries for 79 yards and caught four passes for 27 yards in the comeback. It was the fourth time this season Lindsay’s registered at least 100 total yards. Despite his small size, he’ll continue to be the team’s top back but has a tough matchup on Sunday versus the No. 9 Pittsburgh run defense. Lindsay remains an RB2 option.

Week 11 at Los Angeles Chargers

In the loss to Houston two weeks ago, with Royce Freeman out with an ankle injury, Phillip Lindsay led the Broncos with 17 carries for 60 yards and caught two passes for an additional 24 yards. Heading into the bye week, Lindsay topped the team with 591 yards on the ground and has been Denver’s most explosive ball carrier. Freeman will be back on Sunday, but Lindsay should remain the featured back. He should be considered an RB2 option.

DEN RB Phillip Lindsay - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Houston Texans

Thanks to a solid run game that netted 189 yards, the Broncos kept it close at Kansas City last Sunday. Phillip Lindsay ran for 95 yards and a TD on 18 carries and caught three passes for 17 yards. In the past two contests, he has rushed for at least 90 yards and been in the end zone in both. Even if Royce Freeman returns from his ankle injury on Sunday, Lindsay makes for a good play, although he’ll be facing the No. 7 defense at stopping the run.

DEN RB Phillip Lindsay - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Kansas City Chiefs
In the blowout of the Cardinals last Thursday, Phillip Lindsay had another solid outing. On 14 carries he ran for 90 yards and a TD and caught a six-yard pass. It was his most rushing attempts and yards since Week 2. In the Week 4 loss to the Chiefs, Lindsay ran for 69 yards and a score. With Royce Freeman dealing with an ankle injury, look for Lindsay to be the featured back in the rematch, backed up by Devontae Booker.

DEN RB Phillip Lindsay - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Arizona Cardinals
With the Broncos falling behind to the Rams last Sunday, they ended up with just 17 rushing attempts. Phillip Lindsay tied a season-low with only four carries for 18 yards. He at least posted career-high numbers with six receptions and 48 yards in the passing game. In the past two games, with Denver falling behind early, the ground game has been nearly abandoned. Lindsay will be facing the second-worst run defense at Arizona on Thursday night, making him a low RB2 start.
