Fantasy Upside
Pierre Garcon is still expected to get starter snaps and targets this year for the Skins. Garcon finished as the #31 WR in PPR formats last year. He finished the season strong with TDs in his final three games of the season when Washington was making a push for a playoff berth. In fact, in a game vs. the Eagles for the division, Garcon had perhaps his best contest with a 7-80-1 line. Garcon averaged almost seven targets a game.
Fantasy Downside
Rookie Josh Doctson is a threat to his targets and playing time, which is why Garcon is the 71st receiver off the board in early MFL10s. Garcon used to be a target hog before the arrival of DeSean Jackson, who is now the team's WR1. Garcon didn't record a 100-yard receiving game last year, in fact his highest total was 80 yards in Week 16. He only had four games above 60 yards receiving.
Bottom Line
Garcon is ranked 54th on our WR list with an ADP of the 16th round. That's pretty late in drafts, but considering he finished as #31 WR in PPR, so we think there is some potential for value there as you look to fill out your roster at the WR position. Garcon's ADP is a lot higher than those around him in our rankings, who are going some 3-6 rounds before he is (Corey Coleman 51st, 8.12; Laquon Treadwell 53rd, 10.03; Phillip Dorsett 55th, 13.10, Steve L Smith, 56th, 10.10).
