Fantasy Upside
Pierre Garcon has been a target hog over the years, which has always been good news for his fantasy owners. He has clicked with Robert Griffin III in the past and RG3's return this year should be good news for Garcon. Having DeSean Jackson on the other side should help draw defenses away from Garcon, much Jackson did in Philadelphia when he helped Riley Cooper put up usable fantasy stats for a stretch two years ago. Washington also plans to move Garcon around this year to help create mismatches.
Fantasy Downside
For all the reasons above that should have made Garcon a good fantasy option last year, none of them seemed to come to fruition. Jackson was the more productive WR and Garcon's targets dropped as the team went through multiple quarterbacks in 2014.
Bottom Line
Garcon's ranking takes a beating this year and he's way down our list at 49th with an ADP of the 10th round in 12-team leagues. That's low-end WR4 range. It seems like he is worth a flier at that point of drafts, especially with the news the team wants to move him around. There are some younger players around Garcon in the rankings (like Brashad Perriman and Devin Funchess) who offer more upside, but But Garcon has produced in this league and is a safer option to round out WR depth.
