LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 at Indianapolis Colts

Puka Nacua is one of the best stories of the early season. A guy with his draft capital rarely comes in and makes an impact at all, let alone immediately. Nacua is up to 30 catches on 42 targets for 338 yards. The only real blemish on his stat line is that he hasn't found the end zone yet. With this volume, though, the touchdowns will come.

The Colts have already allowed two wide receivers to reach 100 yards against them. Last week, they didn't, but the Ravens couldn't get anything going through the air. Nacua is an obvious must-start until further notice.

LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 3 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Puka Nacua is the belle of the ball through two weeks of the season. He went from basically being undrafted all off-season to a must-start player. It's difficult to project his role because we've never quite seen anything like this emergence, especially from a backup wide receiver filling in for a star like Cooper Kupp.

Nacua has 35 targets through two weeks. We have him ranked as WR13. He is going to lead some teams from tough starts that got him on waivers to a winning record if he can keep this up. Nacua is a must-start in Week 3.

LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 2 vs. San Francisco 49ers

Casual fans might not have even known his name heading into Week 1, but Puka Nacua burst onto the scene in the opener last weekend. He earned 15 targets, hauling in 10 catches and managed 119 yards on Sunday. The only thing Nacua didn't do was find the end zone.

Our projections have him quite a bit lower than the community believes he should be. He's currently projected as WR34 in a matchup against a stout 49ers defense. That's not to say you're benching him, San Francisco was able to shut down the Steelers offense last week. Only one receiver managed over 60 receiving yards. He's startable as a high-end WR3 if you were lucky enough to snag him on waivers this week.
