LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 at New York Jets

Not that we really needed another week to know, but it is 100 percent clear now that Puka Nacua is the alpha in Los Angeles. He out-targeted Cooper Kupp 8-to-3 last week and while it was unlucky that Kupp was held without a catch, Nacua finished with 7 catches for 97 yards, including a 51-yarder.

There's not much to say here, Nacua is WR2 overall on the week and the Jets are 24th aFPA against wide receivers. There's no conceivable league format where you are benching him.

LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at San Francisco 49ers

We've seen Puka Nacua start to dominate targets over the last few weeks. While Cooper Kupp is still getting solid volume and is getting red zone targets, Nacua seems to be the clear alpha in this offense. We've been talking about the switch over the last few weeks, but now rankings reflect that as well.

The Rams have proven to be a super-efficient passing offense and that matchups don't really limit their ceiling since the passing attack is so concentrated. However, it should be noted that the 49ers are 8th aFPA against wide receivers this season. That said, I wouldn't be benching or worrying about Nacua this week. He's the WR2 overall for a reason, roll with him and feel confident.

LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs Buffalo Bills

In a week where Matthew Stafford only threw 24 passes it was always going to be tough for Puka Nacua to have a monster week. That said, he did lead the team in targets with 8 targets and had 5 catches for 56 yards and a touchdown.

The Bills are 11th aFPA against wide receivers, so it's not the best spot for Nacua but he continues to be the top option in the Rams passing attack. While I'd expect a run-heavy game plan, Nacua should still be the top option. He's WR2 on the week overall and should be in your lineups.

LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at New Orleans Saints

In what seems to be a consistent theme for Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp, Nacua is going to lead in targets and yards and Kupp is going to lead in touchdowns, but be quite close in the other two categories.

Both Nacua and Kupp are going to remain WR1's every week, it's just a matter of how far up or down the ladder they are. Nacua is a little lower this week, but the Saints are 20th aFPA against receivers so it could be a big week (again) for both receivers. Both are must-starts.

LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

In Week 10, it was a Puka Nacua week. Last week was a Cooper Kupp week, although technically it was a "both" week. There will be a lot of back and forth, and most likely both will likely get there.

The matchup is certainly tougher this week as the Eagles are 1st aFPA against wide receivers. That said, you certainly aren't benching Nacua. He's a back-end WR1 this week and maybe the ceiling is a little lower than normal, but he's still a must-start.

LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 at New England Patriots

With both Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp healthy, it was a bit surprising to see Nacua double up Kupp's targets last week (14 to 7). However, it looks like Nacua is going to be the 1A to Kupp's 1B in the offense moving forward.

The Patriots are 16th aFPA against receivers this season, so it's a decent matchup for Nacua this week. Whoever gets to avoid Christian Gonzalez more between Nacua and Kupp will likely have the better week. Either way, Nacua is a back-end WR1 this week and a must-start.

LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 10 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10 vs. Miami Dolphins

Well, that wasn't what you were hoping for with Puka Nacua in your lineup last week. Nacua finished with 4 targets for 1 catch and 11 yards, plus one punch and one ejection. Not great.

The Dolphins are 7th aFPA against wide receivers so this is a tough matchup for Nacua, but coming in at WR14 on the week he's still projecting out great. He's a high-end WR2 on the week and a must-start in all formats this week.
