LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 vs. New Orleans Saints

Puka Nacua is back in our rankings at WR14 this weekend. His volume has remained incredibly consistent all year. Unfortunately his efficiency took a bit of a dive last week. He saw his customary eight targets but only hauled in five for 50 receiving yards.

At WR14, he's a must-start. He is, at worst, a very strong WR2 option for this Thursday Night Football tilt.

Week 15 vs. Washington Commanders

Puka Nacua is back up to WR12 this week. The matchup with the Commanders looks like an easy one. They've allowed at least one wide receiver to find the end zone each week since Week 8, except for their matchup with the Patriots.

With his nine target, five reception outing on Sunday, he continued his streak of 7+ target games. Every game this season, he's hit that threshold. As a WR1 again this week, he should be in your lineups no matter what on Sunday.

LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 at Baltimore Ravens

Puka Nacua put up a solid performance last week but it was heavily reliant on splash plays. He had a 70-yard reception and a 31-yard rushing attempt. It was his first time cracking 100 yards since late October but we'd like to see the efficiency come back.

Nacua has had at least seven targets for the last five weeks but has had fewer than five catches in all but one of those contests. At WR22 this week, he's a good low-end WR2 with some ceiling potential.

LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 vs Cleveland Browns

Puka Nacua comes in this week as our WR16, two spots ahead of Cooper Kupp. His target volume has been excellent all year and that continued in Week 12. The results weren't quite there, but when a receiver is consistently getting 8+ targets per game, it's only a matter of time before a big day.

In a different matchup, he'd likely be ranked higher but the Browns appear solid against opposing wide receivers. They haven't been tested too much this year, though. Cleveland has had a stretch of a few games in a row against opponents that don't have the same wide receiver skill that the Rams have. Nacua should be in your lineups this weekend.

Week 12 at Arizona Cardinals

It's still up in the air whether Cooper Kupp will play on Sunday. Either way, Puka Nacua should be in your lineup. As things stand, without Kupp, Nacua is sitting at WR6 in our rankings.

He got back on the good foot last weekend with a 70 yard, one touchdown day. The Cardinals have already let five different receivers top 20 PPR points this season and don't seem to have much of an answer for opposing top-end receivers.

LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Seattle Seahawks

Puka Nacua checks in as WR19 this week. He's pulled a bit of a disappearing act in the last two games, as well. Nacua earned seven targets in each of the last two games but only turned three of those into catches and hasn't broken 50 yards since October 22nd.

Seattle hasn't allowed a 20-point game from an opposing Wide Receiver since Adam Thielen picked them apart way back in Week 3. You're starting Nacua, but we'd like to see him right the ship before playoff season starts.

LAR WR Puka Nacua - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 at Green Bay Packers

Puka Nacua caught three balls for 43 yards last week and was targeted seven times in a lopsided loss to the Cowboys. The Rams struggled offensively, and quarterback Matthew Stafford suffered a UCL injury that is expected to keep him out for the foreseeable future.

This week, Nacua faces a Green Bay defense that ranks 13th in aFPA to opposing wide receivers, and he’ll also have to contend with Brett Rypien at quarterback. Nacua is still talented enough to warrant a start, but temper expectations for the rookie. We have him ranked as a quality WR2 option this week.
