KC WR Rashee Rice - Week 15 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 15 at New England Patriots

Rashee Rice once again led the way among the Chiefs' WRs last week as he was tied with Travis Kelce for the team lead in targets with 10. Rice finished 7-72-1 as he continues his weird streak of scoring in every other game, dating back to Week 5. If you lend any credence in the streak, then Rice won't score in Week 15. But he should continue to get plenty of opportunities as he's seen 29 total targets in his last three games. This week he gets an OK matchup vs. the Patriots (19th aFPA) and should be viewed as a strong WR2 option.

KC WR Rashee Rice - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Buffalo Bills

For the second game in a row, Rashee Rice led all Chiefs players in targets (9). He finished with a productive game, putting up a stat line of 8-64-0. Rice has a weird trend in scoring in every other game dating back the last eight games, so history says he should score this week. He'll draw an OK matchup vs. the Bills (16th aFPA) in what could be a high-scoring game between two great quarterbacks. Expect Rice to get plenty of targets once again, making him a strong WR2 option for Week 14.

KC WR Rashee Rice - Week 13 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 13 at Green Bay Packers

Rashee Rice had a bit of a breakout game last week. He led the Chiefs in targets (10) and finished 8-107-1, his first 100-yard game of his career. Rice has also now matched Travis Kelce for the team lead in touchdowns this season with five. The Chiefs' WR corps has been a bit of a mess this season, but Rice has been pretty consistent in being the second-best receiving threat outside of Kelce. He should continue to produce this week as he faces the Packers (13th aFPA). We like him as a solid WR2 play in Week 13.

KC WR Rashee Rice - Week 12 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 12 at Las Vegas Raiders

Rashee Rice had an OK outing last week, finishing with four receptions for 42 yards on five targets. Rice isn't putting up insane numbers, but he's pretty much the only consistent wide receiver in this mess of a WR corps in Kansas City. Rice should continue to produce in that 40-60 yard range moving forward. This week he faces the Raiders who are 13th in aFPA to WRs. He should be viewed as a WR3 option for Week 12.

KC WR Rashee Rice - Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11 vs. Philadelphia Eagles

In the Chiefs' last game before their bye week, Rashee Rice finished with two catches for 17 yards and a touchdown on two targets. Rice has scored a touchdown in three of his last five games while averaging 47.6 yards in that span. Rice also played a season-high 68% of the offensive snaps in Week 9 as he's slowly seen his snap counts increase week-by-week. Rice seems to be the only Chiefs WR with only sort of consistency in production this season. In Week 11 he faces an Eagles defense that's 31st in aFPA to WRs. Rice can be viewed as a mid-tier WR2 option vs. the Eagles.

KC WR Rashee Rice - Week 9 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9 vs. Miami Dolphins

The Chiefs offense struggled as a unit in Week 9, but despite that, Rashee Rice ended up with a decent receiving line of 4-56 on five targets. He also played a season-high 61% of the offensive snaps. Rice has topped 50 receiving yards in three consecutive weeks, which is good consistency in this Chiefs offense that likes to spread the ball around. We like Rice to continue what he's doing as we have him projected above 50 receiving yards again in Week 9. He draws a good matchup against the Dolphins (22nd aFPA) in what could be a high-scoring game. Rice should be viewed as a strong WR3 play this week.

KC WR Rashee Rice - Week 8 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8 at Denver Broncos

Rashee Rice continues to put up nice stat lines as last week he finished 5-60-1 on six targets. He also played a season-high 59% of the offensive snaps. Rice has been one of the few consistent options among the Chiefs' wide receivers this year and it seems like the rookie is gaining more trust as the season progresses. This week Rice faces the Broncos (17th aFPA), a team he faced just a few weeks ago. In that game, Rice finished with four catches for a season-high 72 yards. We like Rice as a solid WR3 option in Week 8 vs. Denver.
