Fantasy Upside
No doubt Robby Anderson is the best Jets wide receiver option. Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker are gone and Quincy Enunwa is out for the season, so it's Anderson by default. He has value because someone has to catch the ball in New York. Anderson did catch 42 passes for 587 yards his rookie year, so there is optimism he can play at a successful level in the NFL.
Fantasy Upside
The problem for Anderson is that he plays for the Jets. Their offense could be one of the NFL's worst and that is not going to benefit any offensive skill players. There are plenty of unknowns at quarterback, plus Anderson has to play the role of the No. 1 WR, when he is more of a third option at best.
2017 Bottom Line
Well, he will get targets and catch passes, which is something. The Jets situation aside, Anderson has moved up the fantasy depth charts just because he is his team's best option. He is probably worth taking a flier on around Round 16 as a WR4. But taking any Jets player this year is a monumental risk.
