Scouting report

GB WR Romeo Doubs - Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 7 at Washington Commanders
Romeo Doubs continued to see a great snap share in Week 6 (95%), but the Packers offense was largely stonewalled by the Jets and Doubs was not exception as he only recorded four catches for 21 scoreless yards. Doubs and the other Packers will get a softer matchup in Week 7 against the Commanders, but the days of high-flying aerial offense in Green Bay might be over as Aaron Rodgers has failed to exceed 255 passing yards in a game this season. With Randall Cobb injured, Doubs is only competing for targets with Allen Lazard, Robert Tonyan, and the team's running backs. He should see plenty of looks from Rodgers, which makes him relevant for fantasy. Unfortunately, all of the Packers skill players have extremely low floors due to being trapped in a mediocre offense that divides the work up amongst a large committee. Doubs is a low-floor WR3 in Week 7.

GB WR Romeo Doubs - Week 6 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 6 vs. New York Jets
Romeo Doubs had a disappointing day in Week 5 when he played 85% of the snaps but only saw three targets after seeing eight in both Weeks 3 and 4. The Packers' run-heavy offense is going to lead to some volatility for the pass catching options in fantasy and Doubs is no exception as he competes with Allen Lazard, Randall Cobb, and Robert Tonyan for targets. The good news is Doubs is seeing starter usage as he's been on the field for 85% of the snaps or more in three straight games. Week 6 brings a matchup with the Jets and their average pass defense. Doubs is a borderline starter heading into Week 6.

GB WR Romeo Doubs - Week 5 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5 vs. New York Giants (London)
Romeo Doubs only caught five of eight targets for 47 yards in Week 4, but one of his catches went for a touchdown for the second straight game. Doubs tied Allen Lazard for the team lead in targets as Aaron Rodgers continues to lock onto his top pair of wideouts while feeding the running backs touches in Green Bay's new-look offense. Doubs leads the Packers with 24 targets (16 the past two weeks) through four games, and his production should only grow more efficient as he gets more reps with Rodgers under his belt. This week's matchup presents a mediocre Giants defense that Doubs should be able to separate from downfield. Doubs' recent play has injected him into the weekly flex conversation and Week 5 is no exception. He is a worthy starter in any fantasy format.

GB WR Romeo Doubs - Week 4 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 4 vs. New England Patriots
It took three weeks but the Romeo Doubs breakout is in the books. In Week 3, Doubs caught eight of eight targets for 73 yards and a touchdown. The word out of Green Bay is that Doubs is evolving into the Packers top wideout and his usage in Week 3 suggests we may see more big games in the future as he earns Aaron Rodgers' trust over the course of his rookie season. In Week 4, Doubs will do battle with a Patriots secondary that has been tough on opposing WRs so far this year, but if he is really going to attract this much attention from Aaron Rodgers in the passing game he warrants strong consideration as a flex play.
