ARI QB Ryan Lindley - Week 18, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Wildcard Weekend – Ryan Lindley vs. Carolina

Ryan Lindley played better against San Francisco than he did against Seattle, putting up 316 yards and a pair of touchdowns. However, he threw three picks and the Cardinals lost, and those aren’t the numbers you want to see from your quarterback going into the playoffs.

Lindley will play a surging Panthers team to begin the playoffs, and fantasy owners should not consider him a good fantasy option. We have him ranked dead last this week out of the available options against a good Panthers pass rush that helped the team rank 11th in passing yards allowed this season. Look elsewhere if you can.

ARI QB Ryan Lindley - Week 17, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 17 – Ryan Lindley vs. San Francisco

Ryan Lindley had an awful game against the Seahawks last week, throwing for 216 yards and a pick as the Cardinals only managed six points on the day. He also completed just barely over 40 percent of his passes. Lindley may develop into a solid starting QB one day, but it's unlikely that it'll suddenly happen this week against the 49ers and their fifth ranked pass defense. Fantasy owners should look elsewhere.

ARI QB Ryan Lindley - Week 16, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 16 – Ryan Lindley vs. Seattle

Ryan Lindley came in against the Rams last week after Drew Stanton left the game hurt, and he ended up going four of ten for 30 total yards passing on the day. No touchdowns and no picks for the Cardinals, but they escaped with a victory nonetheless.

This week, Lindley looks set to get the start against Seattle, with Stanton hurt. Lindley isn’t a very good fantasy option regardless of the matchup, but that’s especially the case against a tough Seattle defense that ranks first in the NFL in passing yards allowed. Fantasy owners should leave Lindley on waivers. There isn't a worse option at QB this week.
