Scouting report

STL WR Stedman Bailey - Week 11, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 11: Bailey vs. Broncos
Stedman Bailey saw two targets in the Rams’ Week 10 loss to the Cardinals but failed to record a catch for the third time in five games. There’s simply no urgency when it comes to getting Bailey involved in the game plan and even if he were targeted more, the Rams’ passing game is woefully inept. Leave him on your waiver wire.

STL WR Stedman Bailey - Week 10, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 10: Bailey vs. Cardinals
Stedman Bailey caught his lone target for seven yards in the Rams’ Week 9 win over the 49ers. The thought was that Bailey would get more looks once Brian Quick went down for the season with a shoulder/arm injury, but the second-year wideout has just three catches for 40 yards and no touchdowns in his last two games. Avoid him in all formats.

STL WR Stedman Bailey - Week 9, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 9: Bailey vs. 49ers
Stedman Bailey caught two-of-three targets for 33 yards in the Rams’ Week 8 loss to the Chiefs. With Brian Quick out for the season due to a shoulder/arm injury, Bailey should see a slight uptick in targets but he still doesn’t hold much fantasy appeal. The Rams simply don’t feature any player in the passing game, so leave Bailey on your waiver wire.

STL WR Stedman Bailey - Week 8, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 8: Bailey vs. Chiefs
Stedman Bailey failed to record a catch in the Rams’ Week 7 win over the Seahawks but did return a punt 90 yards for a touchdown on a perfectly designed fake. While he currently holds zero fantasy value, Bailey will be a player to monitor after the release of Austin Pettis earlier this week. Bailey has the hands and route-running ability to be an effective player, but a two-game suspension earlier this season set him back. It’ll be interesting to see if he has a bigger role in St. Louis’ offense on Sunday in Kansas City.

STL WR Stedman Bailey - Week 5, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 5: Bailey vs. Eagles
Despite having his first opportunity to play coming off a two-game suspension, Stedman Bailey was held off the stat sheet in the Rams' Week 3 loss to the Cowboys. At some point he should start receiving opportunities in the passing game but he isn't a fantasy option. Leave him on your waiver wire.

STL WR Stedman Bailey - Week 3, 2014 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 3: Bailey vs. Cowboys
Stedman Bailey was reinstated from suspension after the NFL and NFLPA agreed to an overhauled drug policy earlier this week. Bailey will be in uniform this Sunday against the Cowboys, although it remains to be seen how Brian Schottenheimer utilizes him in his offense. Bailey came on a bit down the stretch last year and emerged as a capable starter for a Rams team that was desperate for receivers. That said, Brian Quick remains the clear No. 1 target in St. Louis' run-first offense, so again, we'll have to wait and see how Bailey is used this weekend. Leave him on your waiver wire for now and monitor his situation. He could be worth a roster stash at some point because he does have starting ability.
